I was in Hilton Head last Oct. and I plan to go again. When I was there I said I have to request that villa-of course I cannot remember the number!
I am thinking of the villas at the end of the resort parking lot that face the march w/ shelter cove to the left and the pool out the front door. I think 27. Does anyone have a link to a resortmap or know of a good location?
thanks
Noreen

We stayed on the first level of building 27 a couple summers ago, and loved it. It was close to the pool, the campfire and the Activities Center. But not too close.

It's the only villa we've ever had at HHI, so I don't have anything to compare it too. But if we got that room again I'd be pleased.

Building 27 is a smoking unit.... if that helps... it is right next to the shuffle board area and the pier.

Thanks Laura-that makes a difference.
I definately would want a no-smoking unit.
I knwo there is a resort map out there somewhere!

Tommy Towery's great site has a HH map.

Building 27 is a smoking buidling and is next to Community Hall, the shuffleboard court and the pool. Building 31 is at the far end, next to the parking area (29 site between 27 and 31).

Hi Doc
Do i have to sign up for that site?
When I clicked on your link I got a screen w/ the tripod.com logo on the upper left and then the rest of the pg. was blank. :confused3

Hi Noreen :wave2: How are you?? :goodvibes

How is it we cruised together and never talked about Hilton Head? When are you going?

If it's not the same week as us, I'll tell you our most favorite location. ;) Actually, we find any of the villas towards the end of the parking lot by the circle to be nice locations. Our most favorite has been building 31 but we've never been disappointed by any of the others. They always end up being our favorite for the week we're there.

Sorry, I forgot that tripod won't allow direct links.

Here is the link to Tommy's site:

You can go there and scroll down the first page a little to the HH map as well as the other great info, photos and links provided by Tommy.
