HHI refurb progress?

Does anyone know if the resort is done with the rehab at Hilton head? Does anyone have any pics? How are the mattresses? I read that 2012 gets the following but no date listed. Thanks

Exterior paint
Pool resurfacing
Mattress and box springs replacement

Most of the Beach House refurb is complete with new roof and fresh paint throughout and I think the pool was resurfaced at the same time. The Beach House reopened 2 weeks ago but there are a few things still being completed.

The replacement of mattresses is done on a rotating basis as buildings are shut down during slower times when an entire building can be done at once.

How are the old mattresses vs the new ones?

We were just at HH this week. We had new mattresses and found them just as comfortable as the old ones. The difference was that the new ones are just a bit higher in the bed.

At the Beach House, the refurb is almost done. The bar was not opened and staff told me they had not finished the refurb there.

Otherwise, HH was wonderful, as always, with the best March weather we've ever had.

Can anyone update me on the refurb progress? We go in 12 days! How has the weather been? Are the rooms in good shape? When was the last soft goods update? We have a crawler and wanted to know if the carpets were clean. Thanks!!
