HHI - RECENT VISIT

This has been our first visit to HHI. We are checking out tomorrow and there are not words to express the service I have received at this resort. I had read other's thoughts here about this service. Nothing was done out of the what used to be considered the Disney norm. I simply had forgotten what it was like. The CMs could not asked enough if there was anything we needed. This did not just include the front desk staff, it included EVERY CM we came in contact. After asking, their standard reply was "If you need anything, ask for 'their name'.

IMO, other Disney services should mirror the "attitude" provided at HHI.

Isn't that the truth? I always say that too-that the HHI CMs could give the WDW CMs a workshop on what the Disney service should be. And I can remember a couple times when the CMs at HHI went the extra mile to help us thru mistakes that weren't caused by them.
 

Love HH! When we lived in Charleston (2000-2005) we went there 2-3 times a year for quick weekend trips. I love the feeling like you're in a tree house! And so much to do both at the resort and Hilton Head.
 
So true! It's an incredibly special place to relax and unwind. Can't wait to go back!
 
We just love it there. They actually remember you from previous trips. Some by name too. And it's so relaxing.
