HHI Questions - beach chairs and towels?

Hi!
We're hoping to head there this summer for the first time with another family. Would we need to bring beach chairs or beach towels with us? We will have limited space in our car, so I would like to pack smartly. Any other tips you would like to share would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

You can rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Last we were there for 5 days it ran about $200 for 4 chairs and an umbrella.

Or, we've purchased items (boogie boards, etc) at Walmart/Target and then leave them at the resort for the taking.

The HH resort provides pool towels. They will be in your villa at arrival and may beexchanged for clean towels at the recreation center if desired.

The resort does not provide (or rent) beach chairs, but they are offered thru the lifeguards. As noted, many purchase chairs locally and just leave them at departure - which may be less costly that renting.

Just a note about the rental chairs - they cannot be moved down to the water and are very far away from it. We like to be close to the water so our kids can play. As others have said if you can't pack them the Wal-mart or Target sells chairs that would be cheaper than renting.
