HHI---not checking in until Sun..will activites be full?

Hi there....will be making first trip to HHI in just 2 weeks....will be there Sunday July 11-Sat. July 17th...since we won't be arriving until Sunday will the activites be filled up for the week? Any thoughts...probably won't be arriving until around Noon on Sunday....

Specifically referencing the kids activites as I have 9 and 4 yr. old sons....

We arrived last year in July on a Sunday and had no trouble! My kids were 10, 5, 5 and they LOVED it! They are very disappointed that we are not going this summer. We arrived early but our room was not ready until late so we swam at the pool and looked over the activity list. Most activities we signed-up for on the day of or 1 day early.

Because of the point structure of HH, the vast majority of DVC members seem to check in on Sunday, so they'll all be in the same boat as you.

I know that as far as the free activities go, you can only book them within 24 hours. The CMs explained to us that it was to avoid specifically the problem you're talking about-people checking in one day, booking all the activities for the week, leaving nothing available for others. So as far as free activities are concerned, that should help. As far as the paying ones, though, I don't know if there's a maximum time ahead.

Simba's Mom is correct on the policy for sign-ups for the free activities. The week we were there, a CM had mistakenly let someone sign up for all the free things they wanted for the entire week, so they were letting everyone do this, even if it was several days in advance. We still had no problem getting the activities we wanted.
