HHI in March? Things to do?

We are planning to book HHI for early March 2013 b/c dd has a gymnastics meet in Savannah. We figure with it being only an hour away, it would be a perfect opportunity to finally visit HH. My plan is thurs-monday b/c grandparents will be with us too so it's a family get together.

So, with 3 kids ages 12, 12, 9 - what are some good things to do? we plan to spend a day in savannah sight seeing. What does HHI have to offer in the winter/early spring? I'm assuming the pool is closed. We can walk the beach. Is there fishing?

Will 4 days be too much time there during this time of year? We are from NC so I am not expecting the weather to be dramatically different.

The pools are heated, so swimming would be fine. The ocean will still be a bit chilly, but walking along the beach is pleasant. Air temps can range from upper 50s to low 70s during the day in early March.

The will be a wide variety of water activities available including fishing and crabbing. The resort offers many recreational activities for all ages and there are lot of other opportunities nearby. Dolphin cruises, fishing, nature walks and shelling are all available thru the resort or other nearby providers.
