HHI in DEC.

I'm calling tomorrow for a ressie HHI Dec. 27-30 - Studio. What do you think are my chances? Also, has anyone been to HHI for Christmas Week? Has anyone been wait listed and got in last minute? Lastly, what kind of weather can I expect? Many questions - thanks for your help in advance!!! Hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving Weekend!!!!!

Since you are not planning to stay for New Year's Eve, you may stand a chance, but the resort is usually pretty full during the week between Christmas and New Years....

Who KNOWS what the weather will be like? LOL. We just returned from spending our 8th Thanksgiving at Hilton Head, and had by far, the worst weather we've ever experienced there. Driving in on Tuesday, I ran into the horrible front that brought snow and sleet from Savannah to Charleston. It was 39 degrees when I drove onto the island. (We've also been there for NYE and can't recall it ever being that cold!) By the time we left yesterday, however, it was near 70. (Figures!)

In any case, be prepared for just about anything, if you're able to get a room. There's plenty to do, both at the resort and on the island, no matter what the weather is like! Good luck!

We have a 2 bdrm booked for Dec 26 thru Jan 1 and I am waitlisted for a studio for the same time. We have a cash ressie for the 29-30. But the points ressie is not available yet. I hope you can get yours.
