My wife and I had our first trip to HHI this past September and really enjoyed it. None of the fever to push through as many rides as possible, just a very leisurely trip. We ate at Hudson's, Stack's (pancakes), and the little barbecue place that ought to charge to let you breathe the aroma of smoked meats. We petted Shadow, listened to stories, watched Disney movies, visited with other folks and Cast members, and relaxed. Go to Savannah--get tickets for the trolley, and eat at Mrs. Wilkes (don't bother with the famous celebrity restaurant). Explore Beauford. Sleep late, swim, and don't eat the kissing bugs. Sing around the campfire. Eat at the French Bakery.
