HHI Events - June, 2010

I just got an email from some HH realtor friends with the events schedule for June. There are a few events that are right near the DVC resort (June 1 - Shannon Tanner concerts begin for the season and June 22 - Harbourfest begins for the summer ... and ... the Evening Turtle Talks and Walks is also a wonderful program beginning June 1). Harbourfest is every Tuesday evening and concludes with the fireworks display from behind the Disney resort. The Shannon Tanner concerts are free and are performed under the bandshell right across the harbor from the resort. Thanks to Jane and Glenn Handley for the list!

Ok...I know this is a dumb question, but when do the fireworks for Shelter Cove start> Hope it isn't June 22 instead of the first Tuesday????

I'm not sure at this point. They are sponsored by Harbourfest, so they may not start until the 22nd. I thought Harbourfest has started right after Memorial Day in the past, but it looks like it's later this year - possibly to coincide with the larger crowds. We will be there starting this Sunday and I'll try to find out the schedule.
