Any recommendations for a non-Disney (read less expensive) dolphin cruise at Hilton Head? I've seen several on-line, including Adventure Cruises at Shelter Cove Harbour, but the site hadn't been updated since 2004. Suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks!

You should check the boat size. The nice thing about the ones run through Disney (Scott, I think is his name) is that you are on small boats -- no more than six people. When we did it there were 7 of us, and we had 2 boats that went out together. We were really close to the dolphins. Sometimes it is worth it to pay more to have a better experience.

We\just got in fromthe tour. It is Scott and the second boat Captain was Tyler, only 6-7 per boat. We saw aboyt 30 dolphins in Broad Creek.

For the price and convenience (they load right at DVC), I'd go with them. Other than that, the books you get at any restaurant has tons of the various tour operators.

I appreciate the suggestion, but my folks are coming with us and I have about as much chance of getting my mom on a boat that holds 6 people as I do winning the lottery and buying my own boat. I guess I'll go back to searching the forum-I know I've read posts recommending other cruises. Thank you for taking the time to post your advice!
