HHI- Beach Towels

Do you bring your own, or are they provided by the resort by the pool?

They actually are provided by the resort and are in your villa when you check in. They are large aqua and white striped beach towels for you to use during the week. They don't have the usual beach towels by the pool like at other disney resorts. This is new this year.

You are welcome! As long as you are in a 1bdrm or 2bdrm, you can keep them fresh or just hang them out on your balcony. They will change them out on day 4. Lucky you going to HH! We were there in June!! HH is our happy place!

I wanted to add that the towels they provide can be exchanged for clean, dry ones at the rentals/rec sign-up window near the Big Dipper pool or at the bar at the Beach House. We were able to exchange ours for fresh ones each day when we left the pool or beach.

You can also call housekeeping and they will come up to your room and exchange your towels. But it is truly an exchange. Don't toss your used ones in the towel return bins by the pool and then call for an exchange.

Are the beach towels larger than the standard WDW pool towel, or the same size?

I believe they were. Nice large aqua and white striped beach towels. You didn't have to use two of them like I do at the other DVC resorts

It really is such a wonderful thing not to have to pack- especially if you're flying (which we are NOT, but it still is nice! ).

Do you take these over to the Beach House to use there and at the beach, too? Or are they just to use at the resort pools?

The new towels in the rooms are larger and thicker than the former pool towels. As said, you can exchange them for new ones at the pool. We got five of them when in a 1 bdrm last year.

You don't have to have your dirty/wet ones to get new ones from housekeeping. I had dropped our wet ones in the bin at either the pool or at the beach house, so I didn't have any to actually "exchange". I didn't have any issue getting new ones from housekeeping.
