HHI Beach house hours/access?

We went down to HHI the first time in July 07. While we LOVED the beach and beach house, we were very surprised to find the air conditioned hall, with the big screen and pool table (I think) was always closed. We have two teenage boys who would have liked the break from the beach and pool here and there and we couldn't use it. It wasn't closed for refurb--just plain locked every day of our 7 night stay.

We're headed back down at the end of July and wanted to know if anyone had the hours for the Beach House--meaning, how late can we use the pool and/or gain access to the beach with our cards?

I remember we went to see the full moon on the beach one night and had to find another way down, b/c the beach house was locked off.

Also, does anyone have a current sheet of activities? I assume they won't change much between now and then.

he has posted HHI activities schedule from first week of June 2010; it lists Beach

House open from 8am - 8pm ( shuttle runs from 10 - 5pm ).

idk, why your family couldn't get inside the beach house during your last stay, that sounds unusual, we visit during summer months & it has always been open. Maybe something was up that wasn't obvious & they needed to lock it. Hopefully you'll be able to enjoy it this time around.

We are here right now. hours to gain access to beach house is 8 am to 8 pm, they are the pool hours. shuttle service runs from 10 to 5.
