HHI at Thanksgiving??

Thanksgiving is usually a busy family time at HH and the resort is often full - without needing to offer special cash discounts, but the member discount may still be available for some days. Most of the really good rates have been available over the winter months, when HH - in general- is much slower.

As with most other busy times, weekends will be the best chance for getting the 25% DVC member cash discount.

We got the discount for Nov 22-26 several months ago. Call MS to see if anything is still available.

We spent last Thanksgiving at HHI. We used our points for the weekday nights and got the 25% DVC discount for Friday and Saturday (rate was $124 + tax for a 2BR) but we booked at the 7 month mark.

We're hoping to go there Thanksgiving, 2006. What do you think our chance are of getting a 1 BR at 7 months for that time? I know they don't have too many 1 BRs.

You shouldn't have a problem. Also, as posted above, you may want to make the res and then sub the weekend days in for the cash discount. We did that last time and saved the points. This year we have "points to burn" and will probably use all the points on our res.
