HHI and VB at 7 month window

I haven't tried either of these resorts yet but I was wondering...

What months would be easier to get HHI or VB at the 7 month window?

Hilton Head:

November, December, January, & February

when it is maybe too cold to enjoy the beach and weather for Golf could be iffy.

Vero Beach:

July & August:

when it is just too darn hot and humid to be outside that far south in Florida

Anyone know for sure or have another opinion?

I have always been able to get HHI in the fall (Oct/ Nov)
at the 7 month mark.

VB was very easy to get in late November and early December.

i have been able to get a studio in june, a 1bd in late march and a 2bd in sept. at VB.

You should have no problem with HH outside June through August. You should be able to EASILY trade into DVC in HH in November through Feb excluding xmas and possibly Easter. I'm no quite as sure about VB but would expect Xmas to Easter to be tough and the rest of the time easy. You can trade into VB through II for Sept through mid November. The exceptions for both places will be the 3 BR units.

The past two years - I have gotten a VB ocean view inn room at spring break at the 7 month....At HH - we live within 2 hours of HH and usually take advantage of codes or visa rates to stay there in the off-season.

How difficult is it to get a 1 bed at HH at the start of June?! Impossible or just tough?!!
