We'll have the kids at the kids night out and so we have an evening free. Anybody have any suggestions regarding dinner? It's our first time out here and we both love seafood. Ambience not such an issue, but really looking for good seafood.

We checked in today and have a nice view of the marsh. Beautiful scenery here. Looking forward to checking out the beach tomorrow. Just too tired after traveling all day to make it there today.

Thanks
Jim

We really enjoy Marley's...esp their early bird. Everyone has a different opinion. have heard good reviews of Sea Grass Grille also. Enjoy your HH vacation.

We ate at Marley's a couple of weeks ago. I thought the scallops dish I got was very good, and the shrimp appetizer my son and I shared was also very good. It is not a quiet, cozy place for an adult meal, though. It seems like a popular spot for families on vacation - busy and somewhat loud.

We like Old Oyster House, and love you can see the DVC resort from there.

We plan on going to Robert Irvine's Eat! for our date night.

Last year, we went to Pazzo across the highway from the resort. I think they have moved down to the traffic circle (we'll be over there next week and I'll let you know), and before that, the Brick Oven at Park Plaza.

There are LOTS of places.

The Old Oyster Factory is very good, but they don't take reservations. The Old Fort Pub is our favorite restaurant on the Island and one of the most expensive. Red Fish is very good. I also like Alexander's just inside Palmetto Dunes.

Red Fish, Old Fort Pub and Skull Creek Boathouse. All great. Red Fish and Old Fort Pub are somewhat more upscale. The boathouse is casual.

Sounds like there are a lot of good options. Thank you all for your suggestions.

We've dined at both Red Fish and Robert Irvine's Eat. Both were excellent.

Old Fort Pub is great . . . we did that years ago during a kids' night out. Very pretty and food was very good. Through the years we have gone twice to Old Oyster Factory and did not like it either time. Not exactly sure what everyone sees in that place. Would take Sea Shack any time over that! Just got back from being there last week and missing it so much!

We liked the Oyster Factory, Red Fish and Marley's. So many good choices!
