HH weather during spring break

How is the weather at HH during the 1st week of April for spring break? Any experiences?

We went the last week of March a few years ago and the weather was perfect. Maybe a little too cool for the ocean, but great for the pool. The highs were mid 70s to low 80s.

But with it still being spring, there are still a chance for a cool snap.

It could be very nice...or could be rainy and cold. HH is a little iffy. April is better than March.

We debated over HH and VB for next April...and went with more of a sure thing at Vero. (Watch now we'll have a cold front that week!). Less than 200 days now!

I'd still like to try HH in 2006. Love the area.

We've gone the first week in April several times. We've had great summer-like weather (except the ocean is still cold) and we've had times when we've had cool weather and lots of rain.

That sure helped, didn't it?

We were there this past April- from the 5th thru the 12th- the weather was absolutely perfect- no rain, sunny and 75 - 80 every day- we are from Long Island, New York so we swam in the ocean- it was 70 degrees which is as warm as it gets here in Southampton- and it was lovely. Watched the dolphins in the ocean frolicking almost every day we were there. On our first trip to HH we went in July, which was hot, humid and it did rain every day, but just for a little bit. I would go either time of year again. We'll be there next April after our Wonder cruise!!! Can't wait. This resort is our favorite DVC location, hands down!

We went this past April. Had we gone the first few weeks, it would have been warm, almost like summer. (except for the ocean) But we went the last week in April and it was pretty cool. The pool water was cool too. I have been told it is heated, but this past week it was very cool pool water. Very very cool pool water at the beach house.
