HH Update

We were at HH from 10/27 to 11/02. The visit was great as usual. We also got to enjoy the autumn colors going from / to Michigan.

The property looks fine. They were doing exterior painting on two of the buildings. HH was about 50% full, of which the desk said 2/3 were DVC members and 1/3 were cash. Both pools were operational. We ate and sat at the Beach House on two days, but did not actually use that pool. They've got a new Naturalist who is young, but personable.

The weather was warmer than we expected - low 80s - high 60s. Overall the rest of the vacation was as we expected - a high quality, low key, and peaceful experience.

PS: the cookies and lemonade from 3 - 5 PM continue to be great also.

Glad you had a nice trip. Nice to get away and relax, isn't it. HH is just the place to do that.

Sounds like a great trip. I have never been to HH. I was planning a trip early June 2004. How is HH this time of year.

Thanks for the report! We can't wait to be there for the fourth of July! We love HH so much, I Just sent in the paperwork for our second HH add-on today! Glad you had a nice time .

Are you referring to Bryan, or has he left and been replaced by someone else?

Glad to hear the cookies and lemonade are still being offered. Some how we just happened to be walking through the lodge during that time.

We are looking forward to our first DVC stay at Hilton Head in a little over two weeks and I can't wait! I didn't know about the cookies and lemonade in the afternoon so thanks. We'll have to stop by and check it out.
