HH - summer 2004

Hi All!

I was wondering if anyone could give me their best guess on my luck getting a reservation for a GV at HH for next summer. My home resort is BCV, so I'd only be able to book 7 months out.

Any thoughts?

I've wondered if I coudl ever get HH, too in the future at 7 months out for anytime in the summer for a studio. I'm under the impression summer is hard to get?

While anything is possible, you may be better off trying to find a HH owner to make the reservation in your name and then possibly transfer some of your BCV points to them in exchange.

There are only 5 GV's at the resort and summer is the busiest time. There are 21 Studios and 21 1BR villas- so those are also in short supply, but many have reported finding something at 7 months or thru the waitlist.

So if I trasnferred my BCV points into their accounbt they coudl then book at 11 montsh out for BCv even though they are HH owners?

Yes, that's how it's supposed to work. Transferred points retain their original Home Resort status and Use Year.

Some have reported that MS sometimes has difficulty retaining that status in the computer system, but I'm sure that it can be straightened out to do just that.

Another option would be for you to just make a reservation in their name using those points.

I reserved a 2br at the 7 month window for the 4th of July this summer. I know there are more 2br than any other type of accomodation which probably makes it easier. But at least there is hope for something at 7 months.
