I was wondering if anyone knows of a studio room at Hilton Head with a good view? Thanks :)

The 21 studios at HH have a choice of Marsh View or Island View. The majority are Marsh View. The Marsh views are of Broad Creek, which has tidal changes and sometimes offers a glimpse of dolphin, otter and manatee. Island View rooms will look out on interior wooded areas of the small island the resort is based around.

16 of the studios are located in buildings 11 and 12 (the Live Oak Lodge area) and the other 5 are found beneath the GV's.

There are no pool view studios (or GV's or 1BR's).

I would NOT suggest requesting a specific room. With so few studios to begin with, you are really limiting yourself if the one you request is unavailable. I'd request the view you'd rather have.

Good Luck!

We stayed in a studio in the lodge building that overlooked the marsh area. It was very peaceful to sit on the balcony either in the evening or the early morning.

Doc is right - I made a reservation for the 4th of July this year at 11 months exactly (with rented points) and requested building 18 because it is the best in my opinion with a really nice marsh view and we didn't get it and were in the Live Oak Lodge with a view of the side canal (?) I was slightly disappointed because I like the quieter, marsh view rooms, so I would suggest requesting something more general, like marsh view, or a choice of building numbers over one specific building number.

The rooms in building 11 (lodge) are either island view or marsh. The marsh views include the "canal" on that side of the lodge. We have seen otter and dolphin from those rooms, but do prefer the marsh views which look directly across Broad Creek.

The lodge rooms in building 12 all have island views (although you can see a little of the marsh thru the trees.)
