:D

I don't know if this is new info to this board but while I was speaking to my guide, Jim McCoy, this morning about something totally unrelated he informed me that Hilton Head is finally sold out.

Just thought I'd post it as this board has been so extremely helpful to me in the past. Sorry if it is old news!

Thanks Jemima. They were down to one use year at the Member Cruise, so we knew it was getting close.

I'll bet that some champagne corks were flying at DVD. They've been saying that HH has been close to selling out for years.;)

Wow,
I just snuck in...just did another small add on at HH....

Maybe you were the one who pushed them over the top? Who knows? Congratulations.

Guess our next add on will have to be through re-sale. It's never to early to plan ahead!!:teeth:

does this mean my home resort will now always be crowded?
we like to go in Sep. right after labor day week. Its still warm and it was not crowded.

Maybe a little, but I doubt it will change too much too quickly. I think a lot of people bought HH points at the suggestion of their guides because of the lower dues. But as more and more people try it and discover how wonderful it is, well....

Certain times of year are fairly safe, the beginning of September being one of them because school will have just started.

I wouldn't worry about it.

I've been on a waitlist to purchase a small add-on here for a little more than a month. My guide says I am not too far down on the list and it should not take long...I hope he's right!

We have added on twice at HH and are very happy there. We are looking forward to our first summertime trip there in 2004. Hope once Vero sells out, DVC considers more offsites. I love them as an option, IMO they add a lot of varitey to the program.

We bought HH a year ago Dec but have no plans of ever going there the only reason we purchased was the lower dues and the buy back of the first years points. We ended up not having to pay anything out of pocket for our downpayment. We had signed our papers for VWL and then our guide told us about the HH deal a day or so later so we canceled our deal and bought at HH.
