HH Room Locations

We're heading to HH in October. Staying in a 1 BR. Have never been there. Is there any part of the resort that is better to stay in or is it pretty much the same in whatever part you stay. Thank you ahead of time for any responses.

Most of the 1 Bedrooms are in the main building (16 of the 21). The others are in buildings 16, 18, 19, 28, and 30. However, those last 5 are all first floor units. Otherwise, I'd recommend building 18 for the best views. However, because of the potential for loud noise above you, we always ask for the top floor of the main building. In our opinion, the best view is from 1138.

I prefer Building 12, top floor. It has a marsh view toward the fishing pier, but the view is obscured by the trees. It is nice and shaded though. It also has elevator access from Building 11 because the two buildings are connected.

HHI is relatively small and everything is pretty convenient. The smaller number buildings (12-13-14) are closer to the lodge, the larger numbers further in toward the point of the little island. I like it down there (30)....it's a bit farther walk over to the lodge or Shelter Cove but not a deal breaker and we found it quieter and more relaxing. That said, we stayed in 12 one year and I loved the marsh views. Be sure to rent bikes
