We just got back on Saturday (8/04).
They still had the typical (if you have ever been there) for the younger kids:
The fire at night with songs and smores
Magic with B-Lou
They have some that some of the older children would enjoy more, but even the younger kids do:
Beach bag painting
Beach magnets
Minature sand creations (not sand art/castles)
Fish painting and put on tee-shirts
Then somethings that the parents can take part in:
Pool games at the beach house
Pool games at the facility
Behind the ears (one hour tour of the facility, no behind the scenes though)
Marsh walk
Bar-b-que
Shrip grill (something like that)
Those are just the things that we did (except the shrip).
A few above have a charge (bag, tee-shirt, bbq and shrip), for obvious reasons.
There were a lot more that we didn't do.
You can probably call the facility and get a list from them.
I recommend renting a bike (Disney charges more than others offsite). We never took our car or bus to the beach/beach house.
Let me know if you wanted off site.
This was our second time there. Three years ago was not as bad. Last week was REAL hot. I couldn't sit by the pool and read. Pretty much stayed in the pool the whole time. And sitting on the deck was difficult at times. But, then again, it was hot up north too when we were away. As I mentioned, three years ago it wasn't that bad. I was able to sit on the deck for long periods and read the paper or a book by the pool. Even with the heat, we still rode the bikes. Keep a lot of water in your bike basket. Hopefully the heat broke a little.
Hope this helps.
You'll love it.
