HH in early November?

Starting to think about a quick 3 or 4 day trip down to HH, possibly just the grown ups this time! How is the weather the first week in November? The beach isn't hugely important to us as far as swimming, but would it still be warm enough to bike there and do some outside activities? Do you think I would have any trouble booking at the 7 month window? Also, I think I read something here about renovations. Any timetable released on when those will be done? Thanks for any info!

Well, we've gone for the last 8 Novembers and our experience with the weather is that you just never know. We've had years with ice, steam rising from the pool, sleet, and frost delays on the golf courses. Then we've had other years in the 80s, hot tub weather! From what I heard about the renovations, just this morning, their hoping to be completed by the beginning of October, but most of the work affecting guests will be complete by summer.
