HH in December???

Anyone spent Christmas week there? What is there to do besides shop, since beach is out that time of year?

I'll obviously call Monday but has anyone tried to make a res. lately with or without success?

I just made a ressie for a studio for Jan 1-4 but i am not sure I am going to keep it.

We've spent Christmas week there several times. Besides shopping (which we did very little of), we did the following:

walk the beach
ride bikes
go out to eat
mini golf
movies
resort activities
roller blade

You can also golf, play tennis, do boat excursions, and swim in the heated pools or heated jacuzzi. We've never been bored there.

I agree with WDW1972. we had a great week there last Christmas. The kids swam in the pool (BRR), but the hot tub was really nice for us adults. There are great activities through the resort, including nature walks, dolphin cruises(amazing) and all kinds of other stuff. A day trip into Savannah is also fun. It's only abot 40 - 45 minutes away. Charleston is also a beautiful city, but it is futher away from HH

Are the resort activities mostly the same summer and winter? We went two years ago in the summer but left the day after arrival...darn that Hurricaine Charlie, so I really don't have a good feel for the resort.

I would be by myself this trip, so want to be sure I'll be kept occuppied.
