HH Golf and Restaurants

Heading to Hilton Head in Mid Oct. Was wondering on some favorite Golf courses and restaurants in the area. Pretty much Hackers on the course. I know we will head to Savannah for a meal or 2 so were wondering about some a bit closer. Any type of food is OK.

Love Skull Creek Boathouse, Guiseppes has decent pizza, One Hot Mama's was fun and pretty inexpensive. One of our favorites was Roastfish and Cornbread. Excellent Low Country cooking.
For a nice meal out, Dh and I went to the Sage Room. It was excellent.

Don't golf, so I'm sure others can chime in there.

played palmetto dunes robert trent jones, hilton head national, and old south and to be honest though hh national (off the island) was the best course... golf wont be cheap in october there...love hilton head

Hilton Head National is my favorite, it is unfortunate that they lost one of the original nines for a road. The 18 that are left though are always in outstanding shape. I also like the Golden Bear course in Indigo Run. Crescent Pointe (Arnold Palmer designed) and Eagles Pointe (Davis Love III designed) are also not too bad.

There is a company in HH called last minute tee times. They are a clearing house for several area courses. You can get better rates through them. Their website is lmteetimes dot com. You call at 7PM the night before you want to play and they can give you availability at the courses you want to play.
