What is HH like in the fall? What is there to do at the resort then? Are both pools open? What about food? There is no TS, right? This would just be hubby and me going.

The fall season is great at HH. The resort still offers all of it's usual recreational programs. Temps will range from 60's to 80's depending on when you'll be there in the fall. The ocean is still warm enough to enjoy a swim into October, but both resort pools are heated.

There is no TS dining at the resort but the island has about 300 restaurants to choose from. There are about 6 within about 300 yards of the resort and a wide variety a short drive away.

Enjoy! :)

We are going for our 3 or 4th time in Oct. this year. We have always had very pleasant stays. Weather has been great each trip and we've been in the ocean each time. You can get CS type food at the resort and the beach house both, although the hours are quite limited. We think Oct. is a great time of year to go, not too crowded, but still nice weather. And not having a TS place at the resort has never bothered us. There are so many great restaurants on the island, we don't mind leaving to find one.

Although we have never been in the fall I just want to reiterate as the others have said there are SO many restaurants near the Disney resort that I did not mind at all that it did not have TS. This was the one drawback I thought I would be facing when I reserved our week. However I was so pleasantly surprised at how close the harbour shops and restaurants are to the resort for nice open air or inside dining!!! We loved walking over to the harbour several nights and listening to the music entertainment and shopping and eating outside under the big awnings with the marina in view. Very relaxing. :)
