HH and Motorcycle restrictions

We are new DVC owners, and were going to be in Savannah for a few days and we were going to drive down to HH on our Motorcycle for the day and check out the resort. I had a friend mention that they have motorcycle restrictions at alot of the resorts. Does anyone know if this is correct or have a phone number so I can call them and check.

This would sort of change or plans for staying at HH, we were going to use it as a short motorcycle trip destination it is only 5 hours away from where we live, and would be a perfect long weekend trip. Thanks for any info.

I have stayed at the DVC HH resort a few times. I have seen many motorcycles at the resort and I have never heard of restrictions at the resort. We have stayed there for fishing trips and I have pulled my boat to the resort several times. Parking is kind of tight,especially with a boat, but I have never had problems. I guess some people may have complained about noise from motorcycles, but the DVC HH resort is next to a large marina and a bar with a outdoor bandstand, so I don't think it would be a problem.

It's the plantations (private gated communities) on HHI that don't allow motorcycles. You should be fine going to Shelter Cove and staying at the DVC resort.
