HH 1 bedroom at 7 month 1st week August

We have never stayed at HH. Just wondering what the chances of getting a 1 bedroom or studio at 7 month mark has been for people in the past for the first week of August.

Also, when was the last time that the rooms at HH have been refurbished and what was done?

Are the beds soft?

What is the weather like in August? Is that a busy time or would Spring Break or June/July be easier/harder to get?

HHI is tough to score in the summer. I believe there are only 122 rooms and most are 2 bedroom units.

Weather in August is hot. I'll be there with a grand villa, a 2 bedroom and 2 studios in August this year. I made the reservations on the first day of my 11 month window.

Would late May be nicer/easier to book?

May might be slightly easier to get since school isn't out yet. However, I think the resort is around 100% capacity during the warm months..

I go every spring break. There are people on this board who are waitlisted for this spring break as there were not rooms available at 7 months.

SO....basically it is very difficult to book summers at HH. Has anyone done it at 7 months before???
