We just booked a 3BR in Sept. and I am wondering what buildings/locations to request? It seems like it would be best to be by the main pool, so can anyone tell me some good building names? I don't think it will be too busy in Sept. so I am hoping we have more choices.

this is not OKW.

everything is an easy walk.

there was new construction (okay this might be finished) - near the main pool.

they were tearing down the old sales office and putting up new building.

these building (if finished) would probably be the best.

the other building near the main pool are the older ones.

but this resort is in nice shape and any of the building would work.

sometimes it helps to be away from the main pool.

on our first two trips (paid full price ....) we stayed near the main pool - so I didn't understand that alot of their activities were behind the other building....

Here is a link to the resort map that I was able to scan and add to my webshots album. Click on the second photo album and then click on the picture twice to see a larger version of it.

The new construction of the building near the entrance was not complete when we left on 5/7/06 and I doubt that it is done now, they were putting the roof on.

We were originally put in the St. George buiding, nice rooms, and not a bad walk to the pools or lobby area. However, we had to be moved because DH smokes and we found out that was a non-smoking building. They moved us to the Smith Building, allll the way down to the other end of the property. We drove to the pool area, it was not close enough for our liking, it was right on the highway, etc. We then got moved to the Somerset bldg, it is the oldest, but we saw no issues. The rooms were only marginally smaller than the newer rooms, and angled differently. We were much happier in that building, as the walk to the pool area was much better for my DH with his bad knee, and my DS could go and swim without it being a major hassle if I needed to walk over and talk to him, we were so close.
