THANK YOU, Podcast !!!! :lmao:

Yes, I enjoyed the "Behind the Magic" special on HGTV, but man oh, man...

That David guy...:sad2:

The skin-tight clothes, that attitude, that sequined tie...

I agree that the lady he was with in the warehouse looked like she wanted to pummel him with the nearest tree stand.

And I say this as a fellow, um, expressive Disney fan....

:rotfl:

I'm glad I'm not the only one. That guy bugged the crap out of me. I had trouble watching the show because of him.

OMIGOSH, I couldn't have felt differently. The show was just cringe-worthy. I think David's a nice guy, but they definitely should have picked someone else to lead the tour around the warehouse.

Most of Disney's promos are nauseating and cringe-worthy, so I'm almost numb to it now (almost...), but that guy was horrible. Haven't listened to the podcast yet, but I'm especially looking forward to it. ;)

I'm so glad to know I was not alone!! I told my wife "I'm having to watch this despite this guy...he's awful."

I'm glad I'm not alone. I love every holiday and regular program about the world but I started switching channels on this one.;)

He kissed up just a bit too much. I'm like the podcast crew I prefer Samantha Brown. Her shows on Disney are much better.:thumbsup2

I loved the information and the behind the scenes stuff, but that David guy almost made me stop watching! He has no vocabulary! I felt like I should start counting the "awesome"s and "Disney does it big!"

" HGTV's David Bromstad Needs to be Shot ! "

Oh, come on! Does he really deserve to be shot?
Or, can he just be given another job to do?

Yes Lyn......the folks on the Dis Unplugged Board have taken it upon themselves to decide who lives and dies.

Maybe the Dis Unplugged Board can just give him another job? Or maybe the "cleaning lady" could help find him other work. Wasn't she in HR?

I thought the special was interesting, but he might need to fire the person who picks out his clothing. I mean really. A sequin tie with a short sleeved shirt? What was he thinking.

Maybe Todd can advise him.
Perhaps the right tiara to go with the sequins?

omg, thank you!! I didn't have too much of a problem with him but I asked my husband (who is not a disney fan) to watch the show with me and he had a hard time making it all the way through....

It was a neat show and all but wow.. he was pretty annoying. :sad2:

had it DVR'd........my DD watched it............the next nite i was home alone and turned it on............watched 16 minutes:scared1:...........when she came home i started to say i could not watch it, she didnt even let me finish and said " i knew what you would think but didnt want to tell you........i ground my teeth through the rest of it last nite:eek:.............like nails on a chalkboard!!!!!........however.......... i blame the director and the editor.......they are the ones who let the thing go over the top.

I glad to know that I was not the only one. I loved the background information and liked watching them put up the decorations at night. If fact, my wife and I both said that we would love to have the night job putting up the decorations. But the guy was just annoying. We like Disney shows, but I won't be watching this one again.

He certainly could have used the Queer Eye guys to redo his outfit, that's for sure.

And a prozac or valium. Definitely needs to lay off the caffineated Nes-crape!

I was a little worried about him being so close to all those flamable trees...

My secretary had to come in and see if I was alright from the sudden outburst of laughter!!!
