Just thought I'd ask, afterall it is hump day! So far, so good here! Worked out everyday and no cheats. Had to have a little butt kicking yesterday morning but after that no problem.

Anyway, so how is it going???

The walking has been good. Doing my 30x's around the "gerbil track" every day. Suppose to rain today and Thurs night I need to mow my front yard before we leave on Fri. Not sure how much more walking I'll get done.

Been finding myself cheating more than usual since Sat.
Chinese food - I need to stay away from those pork strips - too much fat for me.
Had 2 straw diaquaris at pajammatam's house Sat night. I believe it's the first time Ive had a drink since I started my "diet" May 19th.
Bought lofat cheezits for our vaca but have already gone into the box - not good - better to have lofat, no salt pretzels - less sodium, less fat and less carbs.

I just PMed my WISH buddy Eva and told her next Thurs when we return I need to buckle down again. I still have those last 9-10lbs to get rid of
 
Doing "okay"! I have got to get exercising! My family is coming for a few days so I have mostly done housekeeping for exercise this week!!! I kinda forgot the Spring cleaning - so now its the big Summer cleaning!

Anyway - I had pasta last night and know I had too big of a plate. But it was so good!

Trying to keep with it! My dad is having a huge operation tomorrow (that's why the company is coming) and I am trying not to do emotional eating!

Funny you should ask?! I have lost 5 lbs this week! I am down to 140 lbs which makes a total of 40 lbs lost since I began eating low carb (7/28/02) and only 5 pounds away from my goal weight now!

So far so good. I did 50 min. on the treadmill Monday and Tuesday and 40 min. this morning. I am going for 50 min. on Thursday and Friday and then taking the weekend off. I have also done my squats everyday and continued to drink a lot of water. I have stayed on plan and even have some points banked so far this week.

Hitting that 206 (30 pound loss) has really helped put coal into my engines. I walked my 4 miles this morning and shaved off 4 minutes! :) I've already had one big glass of water and I've almost tackled ALL my laundry- today's the day where I'll have 4 hours with everything in its place and not an ounce of laundry!!! Atleast until the kids change into their jammies then it starts all over again.

Food wise- I'm trying to stick more to higher protein on my meal of the day (slimfasting) but for my meal last night I had bought fresh corn and couldn't resist- I had 1.5 cobs!!! They were SOOOO good! + roasted chicken and a small piece of hawaiian bread! YUM! But today I'm doing a turkey salad with bacon, cheese and green onions- equally as YUM! So I'm aiming for atleast a 2 pound loss by next Tuesday- COME ON TEAM LET'S GET LOSING!!!!

Aside from last night, YES! :) Things are looking brighter today so I am working on getting my focus back this morning. :)
 
Well I guess I'm having a good week. I did exercise 35/40 mins on Mon. But I'm having a real problem getting motivated to workout at all on Tues/Thurs. Let me tell you why and see if you have any suggestions. On Tues I work two jobs and I'm out of the house from 7:30am to 7:30pm. When I get home I just want dinner and by 9:30 or 10 I'm ready to hit the showers and go to bed after catching up on email, regular mail, etc and maybe seeing my fiance if he doesn't have work that night. Basically the same story on Thurs except its just one job from 8-7:30. I get home and I'm so tired that I can't seem to get motivated to walk on the treadmill and once it gets that late I don't like walking around the neighborhood cause it's dark when I get done dinner. Any suggestions for getting in some exercise other than weights? I've ordered the WATP tapes so maybe I can try the 1mile on those nights (how long does that usually take?). I try to work out every day but it never fails that I miss at least one of these nights and then if something comes up on the weekend I hate not getting in at least 5 days of exercise a week.

Doing great.....

just finished my Herbalife shake and printing off Atkins recipe for crabcakes. I'm going to make them tonight, I can hardly wait!!

I don't think I'm going to weigh myself until the end of the month. Kind of want to see a big drop instead of lots of little ones. Plus, "Aunt Flo" is visiting and I know that would mess me up mentally if I weighed myself now.

You all are doing great, WISHers!! And as my resident Lord of the Rings groupie (DH) says, " Stay true to the Fellowship". :teeth: :wave:
 
Today is my first day! So far, so good. :D
 
Hiya Everyone ~

I'm having a really good week. No more leg cramps and lots of energy. I'm really enjoying Atkins, after years of dieting, feeling hungry and depressed because I wasn't able to have the foods I wanted, I am finally eating the foods that I enjoy. INduction finishes on Monday, can't wait to see how much I have lost and I know that I will definetly be continuing with Atkins on Tuesday.
