The dots that signify threads you've posted to are gone? Are they on strike or something?

Alex is trying a few things to improve board performance and that was one of the casualties.

Personally, I love the black dot. It's one of my favorite features. Maybe we can use this thread as a petition to bring back the black dot.

Surely we could eliminate one of the features, such as getting rid of the "edit" button that is in every single post, but it's something only a mod or actual poster can do.

Also I think just a link to the person's profile & from there being able to send email, PMs or go to their webpage instead of the icons on the posts would work.

I never realized how useful that dot was to me until the last time it was missing. Im not much of a computer whiz and I dont use a lot of the features here(I probably dont even know about some), but that black dot was priceless! I can never remember whether I thought of an answer to a thread or actually posted it(and Im only 30!).

Ill trade the arrow, the lightbulb, the caution sign and the question mark up with the smilies for the message icon for my black dot back.
