Hey! What Happened to the DATW Thursday Night?

Maybe we were late but we braved the storm (Kathy discovers her right sneaker leaks) around 7:30, peeked in the Rose and Crown, grabbed a glass of champagne in France and watched for the crew. We then moved on to Germany for a glass of wine, sat under an umbrella, chatted with a few people and still no green ribbons. By now it's show time. The rain stopped and we had front row seats because the world was half empty. Best viewing we've ever had and probably ever will. Sorry we missed you guys but sure glad we went.

Sorry, we made it from the UK and stopped at China. It was called because of rain.

Sorry we missed you. We must have passed at some point.

We started at Rose and Crown but went the other way. Went to Canada and then around to Mexico. Hung around Mexico for a while and then to Norway. Tarried in front of Norway a short while and the rain started on our way to China. We tried to wait out the rain and had a few fallouts at China but continued on toward Germany. It was here, after the rain continued to fall, that the wheels came off the DATW bus.

The idea was to meet at Kimonos after DATW and so that was simply moved up in the schedule. Don't know exactly what the timing was but seems that it might be possible that the group headed back out the international gateway toward the Swan before you made it from the UK to France.

Sounds like you had a good time too. I know we did.
