Thanks for the heads up -- I Tivo'ed it and watched it last night. The theme of the show was maximizing small spaces and Oprah hired two top designers to redo two really small condos. They were amazing! Their budgets were obviously WAY over $1000.

When Vern came out for his segment, the crowd went wild. Oprah said they were all acting like he was Bono or something. Vern gave a few tips for decorating small spaces, showed a few products (like a cool Murphy bed) for maximizing small spaces and they showed one of his rooms from the show (a dining room where he demolished and ugly shelf with no storage).
