Ok, they moved our flight times to earlier by an hour and fifteen minutes. I found this out via their web site over a month ago.

Well, since then we have friends that are joining us and they are flying down two days after us and were going to fly back to MSP the day after us. We were commenting today that it would be awesome to fly home with them, but we were not about to pay $50 each to change our return date.

Well, SC calls today to inform us about our flight time change. I asked them if they could change our return date to a day later since they have changed our flight times. They said to call reservations.

I did just that. I explained my deal and that I had an early PS planned the day we were supposed to fly home and now we couldn't make it. They offered to change our return flight to the next day for NO FEE! We get to fly home with our friends for no extra charge and spend an extra day at WDW! AWESOME!

They were really nice about it.

That's great, Duds! Leave it to you to talk them out of their $$$.

Know of any great deals out of MSP for next weekend? I just got an email from my husband saying "get me outta this winter!" We've got the annual passes, and I can probably find a room but the airfares are REALLY expensive. Can't really expect anything else seeing as its spring break AND St. Patrick's Day, not to mention 8 days out.

Call Hobbit travel to see if they have any last minute deals. They offer stuff like that.

Good luck, though. I know Sun Country is sold out for many of their flights around the start of spring break.

Glad to hear that SC was willing to waive that pesky change fee for you, duds! We are flying SC next week, to Palm Springs, and darn if I didn't change my mind a week after I booked our airfare and decided to move our return date out by 3 days. Of course, I knew I would have to pay that $50 pp fee, which I did without complaint after I gave myself a good swift kick! Susan, I agreed with duds that Hobbit is likely your best bet for last minute fares. Otherwise, since it is spring break week and the week that butts up against Easter, you likely will pay through the nose.

Hobbitt's a great idea - I always forget about them. But when I mentioned to my husband that its both spring break AND St. Patrick's Day, he decided winter wasn't so bad after all. :) We may try to get to Epcot for a weekend during the Flower Show, though.

You may not have been charged a change fee because they are mainly a charter airline. Their schedule can change anytime. We flew them once. The flight wasn't bad, but we did have a two hour delay because they had to change a tire. Most of the time was waiting for the tire. It was changed at the gate and was interesting watching them.
