Hey Ryno, Can you explain to us POKEMON GO on future Dis POP

Does anyone else here about the popularity of this app.

I remember these trading cards from the 90's but looks to be a resurgence of interest

I can't tell you how many adult friends I have that downloaded Pokemon GO last week and are playing with their kids - it's really funny! Also, there's a thread over on the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies board where folks are playing the game in the Parks and sharing their experiences and pics! It's an app that brings physical activity into a world that was extremely popular in the 90s. It's a challenge to catch more, train them, etc. So you have a mix of a fun game with physical activity and nostalgia, of course it's popular.

I saw one post on Facebook that it is so popular in EPCOT that it feels like it is an attraction

I'm also seeing a number of my friends playing it with their kids and getting out and seeing sites in the local community they didn't know about - so I think it is cool in those aspects

Yep! I've been playing with my 4 year old nephew. He's excited when we can catch guys in his house!

One suggestion I saw and liked was that they should have rare pokemons be located near polling places come election time to increase voter turnout

Me and my co-workers play it at work. Our safari ride goes slow enough that if a second person keeps the phones on it counts it as walking. Or if we get shut down for weather we run around and catch Pokemon.
