I am heading to DL in a few weeks and plan on splurging on dinner at the napa rose. The other members of my party dont want to tag along so i am going to be eating solo. I plan on reserving the chefs table if available, have you tried this before? Is the food, service, and atmosphere at the napa rose worth the price? I am having trouble finding reviews online and value both your opinions (and the opinions of other DIS members :goodvibes).

Thanks!

I will be eating at the chef's counter on the 28th. I'll make sure to let you know how it was!

Napa Rose isn't as good as its WDW counterparts. I think you could have a better meal at Steakhouse 55.

I still think it's too bad Vineyard Room closed. That would have been my first choice suggestion.

Do the counter seat/chef's table. I think your meal will be greatly enhanced by that experience. We used to be monthly regulars there before we had the girls and still go back about once or twice a year and eat in the lounge instead of the restaurant. We enjoy the summer menu a lot. The roasted beet salad is top notch (had it a few weeks ago) and the heirloom tomato salad should be coming on line soon.

Try it. I think you will enjoy it. The counter seat definitely helps!!!

PS - I'm not much of a steakhouse girl. While I do like Steakhouse 55, I tend to prefer the Napa for the variety.

just stumbled upon this thread but the Napa Rose is phenomenal! Best meal we have EVER had. I would recommend the chef's table as well as doing the wine parings if that's your cup of tea :-)
