Hey, New Yorkers, the tourists are here!

Thank Heavens for people like you and Joe! You keep people like me and my DH from arguing in public! ;)

Ok, I know they are good for the economy, but I wish there was a lane on the sidewalk for tourists and one for people who need to be somewhere quickly! AHHHH!

Ha-ha! This is exactly how I feel when I have to drive behind leaf-peepers during foliage season! I guess that's the price we pay for living in such a desirable area! :sunny:

My husband is from midtown Manhatten though we live near Boston now. Of course every holiday season we need to visit his family in Manhatten (plus other times during the year). I may be the tourist but honestly I do not look forward to NYC at Christmas time. Sure the tree is pretty but it is just way too crowded for me. Of course that doesn't stop me from meeting my college roommate at the NBC store since I only know how to get from fil's apartment near the U.N. to rockerfeller center by bus by myself but every year I say never again. I will still be going to world of disney and I like seeing the train display at City Corps (well my 5 year old daughter does) but will skip toys r us, fao schwartz etc. I want to take dd to Santaland at Macy's but might just do it in Boston this year.
