Hey Michiganders...have you sold DVC points?

We just bought 400 points yesterday at GCV and would like to sell to smaller contracts where the maintenance fees are high. It looks like being from Michigan, we need to sell the points from a specific place (not Timeshare Store etc.). Does anyone know about this? TIA

I see no reason why you cannot use TTS if you so choose (they are quite good at what they do, btw).

Some states do require that a developer "register" each development and get permission to sell within the state, but AFAIK, none of the states have those type of requirements for private sales between individuals.

Send an email or give TSS a call - they'll know if they (or any other broker) can legally help you. I'm betting they can.

We're in Michigan and have sold two contracts through the Timeshare Store (had to have our BLT instead, LOL!). No problems whatsoever.
