Hi everyone
Loving it here in LA....met Jenny at the game last night she is lovely, and so are her son and daughter, her daughter was so cute dressed in a reds uniform. Had fun at the game although we only saw half of it. We were given annual passes for unviversal yesterday so if any of you west coast folk could use them please let me know on the cruise so I can hand them to you.

Lynn, hope you're enjoying our west coast weather. The family and I are looking forward to seeing LA and we especially excited about the Canopy tour in PV. We'll be in the area late Friday and are staying another four days after the cruise. If you aren't keeping those passes we're interested. It's been awhile since we've been to Universal. Anyway, only 24 hours till we leave for the airport, now is crunch time, getting all those last minute things done, laundry, packing, cleaning out the refrigerator, getting nails done, last minute shopping, and one more day of work, you know.

Lisa - Going out of Newark, it's less than 1/2 hour from our house. Chance of thunderstorms tonight, but its hot as hell here the past few days. It's close to 100, with a heat index of close to 115. Prelude to Mexico.

I keep feeling like I am forgetting to do something.

Debi-I didn't realize Newark was so close to you. I normally fly into Newark when I got to see my Dad and family (we are usually there once a year). He lives in Norwood, NJ...which is part of Bergan County. He's about 45 minutes from the airport.

Last minute change for us: I dropped the booked excursions in Mazatlan and Cabo (Stone Island and Resort Pool). I have booked with Frank for the am tour in Mazatlan and will wing it in Cabo. We are still booked for the Dolphin Swim in PV.

Hope everyone is traveling safe. My nieces arrive tomorrow and we will do some last minute shopping for formals in the afternoon. Wish me luck. Friday will be relax and pack day.

The push is on. I think we can come up with enough stuff in the next 24 hours.

I know the folks on the east coast aren't thrilled with flying out here for the cruise. It is sure nice not to have to board a plane for 5-6 hours with toddlers. Of course we do have to drive 5 hours but, at least we can stop if we have to. Perhpas we can stop at the Disney outlet store on the way in. Is it still open or has it moved on? I'm asking about the one that was in, can't remember, but it wasn't the one near DL.

An actual question - not just ramble! Of course, there might not be anyone around to answer.

Haven't started packing yet, however, we do have two very nice suitcases courtesy of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. We spent a small sum during the sale. Shawn brought home 6 little summer dresses for Kayla yesterday (including a Baby Lulu) and after his additional discount it was only $100. Not bad for a guy!

Leslie-the Disneyland outlet was in Lake Elsinore. It was scheduled to be closed on the 17th, not sure if it actually did because they said it could be extended.

I'm with you on the travel by plane bit, but for a different reason. Mark travels so much for his job for Hewlett Packard that he's so excited to go on the cruise mainly because it's a vacation he doesn't have have to take a plane to get there. It's funny though, he has about 100,000 frequent flier miles yet he has ZERO desire to get on a plane. I'm thinking, "honey, it's four free tickets, just enough for the family to go anywhere in the US" and he's thinking "honey, if I see the inside of another plane I might go batty". Oh well, we'll use them (I might have to rebook a cruise onboard to FL)....he he he!

I went to Nordie's yesterday. Picked up a few things, not many...don't want to break the bank since I've already spent enough on clothes for all of us and then of course, there's the three spa treatments I'm going to do!!! HA HA HA.

Okay, enough rambling!
