Hey! July 30th, 2005 cruise to Mexico DISfriends!

Hi All,
LYN: so glad all is ok with you and yours! Our thoughts are with you!

Does anyone know where I can find infor about what is the earliest time people are saying they were able to get off the ship? We have the possibility of switching to an 11 am flight from Long Beach instead of waiting until 9 pm! Any thoughts about if we could mek it to Long Beach by 9:30? they say its only about a 15 min drive from the pier.

Wendy-I've read you disembark in groups based upon where you at dinner the last night. Check this thread out...people were talking about this very thing:

If you're in one of the first groups, I would think you could make it fine, I'm just not sure how you can ensure to be in one of the first groups. Maybe you might want to call DCL and see if they can give you better info?

I was SO DARN ANGRY this morning. Why won't these people just leave us alone? They just can't stand civilized nations and have to hide behind violence and cowardess using the excuse of their religious beliefs. Thx so much for letting us know how you are.....I remember when we had our incident, how difficult being a teacher was...........it's such a worry until each family is accounted for..........best wishes and so sorry for all your troubles today.....

About the disembarking question, I really have no idea but traffic can be dicey and last Spring my DH had a problem with making a plane when he arrived after 1 hour prior to departure, he wasn't permitted on the plane because they wouldn't check in his luggage that late...........It was really stressful so I just thought I would tell you...GL!!

Speaking of weather.............DS11 is suppose to fly to St. Pete tomorrow with "ex". I am wondering if they have a plan B. I don't worry too much about "ex" and his wife as they are always very cautious.

Poor Floridians........they have had their share of hurricanes. They need no more!

We're all ok, pleased it's the weekend going up north tomorrow to stay for a night with my cousin and his family. Then on Monday I'm away for 4 nights with 14 10 and 11 year olds. It's our leaver's residential so don't worry about me. I'll be having fun in the new forest!

WE'RE DOIN' THE DOC DANCE HERE IN INDIANA!!!!

Unfortunately, DH and I were at "The Weed" having a margarita, so Mr. UPS left me a note. We have to sign everything here, so I will have to wait until Monday. I'm not complaining because it says "DISNEY" on the UPS slip. That's enough for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wendy - We booked the Los Veranos tour for 11:00, so I hope you don't mind if we tag along with you guys.

Lynn - Are you also doing Randi's in Mazatlan? What time is your tour with Franks? We are doing Randi's early, have to check with DH on the time, but we would love to join you and Keith if the time works for all of us. Just let us know. Thanks.

For those staying at DL prior to the cruise, what time are you planning to leave for port? We are planning to leave around 10, to hopefully get to the terminal by 11, do you think that is too late?
