Hey all, watching the Golden Globes............:goodvibes

Sorry guys, haven't had a chance to read the board, but figured I better check in so Lucy can speak again. Alex had her surgery last Monday, and has pretty much been in bed since then. Although she is able to talk again, her throat is pretty sore, and she has not put any solid food down yet. Saturday night she has some ice cream (the first semi solid thing she has had) and she spent most of the day Sunday throwing up. So I guess no ice cream for her. Today she goes to the doctor for a follow up, so we'll see what happens. She was supposed to start school today, but will probably be out for the next few days, maybe go back Thursday or next week.

I had an All Day function at the store on Sunday with 20 ladies, so I was busy preparing and running with that. Now I have so much other stuff to catch up with.

Anyway, hope all is well with everyone.

Debi

I can talk again - this was a ROUGH quiet period for me:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Please don't do this to me again.......:grouphug:

BUT, more important, DEBI is back:yay: :dance3: :grouphug: :cheer2:
So glad to hear Alex' surgery is over, but it sounds like it was a rough one.:flower3:

Well, 'you know who' is in Ft. Lauderdale right now, and I believe he is enjoying himself, aren't you Bob? (I know he will be reading this board - because he was also worried about Debs).:wave2:

Lucy, ALONE with THE children this week...all I can say is:sad: :scared1:

First day of school today, the countdown has begun till the semester is over, 15 more weeks, and on Wednesday, Tyler is half-way thru the year (90 more days):woohoo:

WELCOME BACK DEBI!!!! I am so glad you checked in! Poor Alex! I hope all goes well.:flower3:  Please keep us up on her progress.....

Well, I see Lucy broke out while I was typing (and in between studying Marshall's Indiana history with him!).

I am excited! My Indiana/Iowa tickets came today and I am sitting on ROW 3 tonight!!!!popcorn:: Hey! If the game is on ESPN, you might see me. I am right behind that cute Iowa coach Steve Alford:rolleyes1 (who played for Indiana)!!!

I am freezing my butt off  and Bob is :beach:

Happy Tuesday!!!!!!!:drive:

You know most people put these for weight loss, but maybe I'll post my gains!!!!:lmao: :wishten :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Welcome back, Debs!Hope Alex recovers quickly.:grouphug:

Our cold is coming tonight.............I'm actually ready for some Winter, I know, that's ridiculous, but I figure, let's get cold, so we can get warm again!!:confused3

WHAT IS BOB DOING, BTW??? :cool2: :grouphug: GL this week, Loosey, I completely understand your fear!

We have "CRSD Education Week" this week, this means parents can join us all week whenever they would like...........:goodvibes by far, my favorite week of the school year.........:rotfl: Seriously, there was a snafu and all of our schedules would have been wrong, but I fought and damage control is underway!:dance3:

Guess who's having a birthday next Monday??:dance3:

Have a great (chilly) night, all!!:cheer2:

blast at the IU game tonight. John had a game and M&M both refused to join me.....so Mark went. He DOESN'T like IU games at all, but was a trooper volunteering to be "my date". It ended up being a great game. It was so cool to look across the court and see John Mellencamp sitting there (he's my favorite musician!!).

I hate the cold already JoAnn......you can have it!!!:upsidedow

Bob is :beach: and Lucy is :laundy: Life just doesn't seem fair, does it?:rolleyes1

 BUT, think of all these moments he is missing with his children:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
AND, then he must suffer too, and have dinner with the store manager, on MOnday night he said they went to a restaurant on the beach, and tonight they are going to the Hard Rock Casino...poor guy, and last night he called and said he had to eat fast food in his hotel room....poor guy:rolleyes1

Joannnsie: he is there 'on business' - has to re-do a JCPenney outlet store that is looking poorly....the district manager picks him to go because he really likes Bob (he must not know the REAL Bob!:rotfl2: :rotfl: )...last year he was in New Hampshire. AND, of course, these arrangements are ALWAYS made when i have school, so i can't travel with him......:dance3:

I'm so disappointed....MOnday i was to go to lunch with a girlfriend, had to back out because Tyler had to be at school at noon for a rehearsal for their Disney performance - tonight I was going out with 3 of my work friends for dinner, 2 of them backed out (ONE of them is stuck in Texas in the ice and can't get a plane out of San Antonio....can you believe those ice storms in Texas:scared1: ).....SO, I get to spend ANOTHER evening with my children:woohoo: :scared1: :sad1:

OH, and today, Disney failed me AGAIN - they were to announce the 2008 cruises - no announcements - now it is supposed to be tomorrow....WOW, I have nothing to look forward to this week, do I? Maybe Bob could bring me a present?!:woohoo:

:wizard: you DO deserve a present!!!:hippie: Did you hear that "Bobby Boy"?????:rotfl: Poor mistreated Lucy!!!:lmao: (you know I love you, Looooosy, don't ya????)

Colder than a witch's _____ around here....
:cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold:

JoAnn - aren't you heading back down to Florida soon??? How are the girls lately???????

Is Bill out ice fishing???? Give Al a big

Debi - Keep us up on Alex's progress!! Give her a big:hug: too!! How is Bri?

I'm with you Jenski..... there is no need for this cold____ !!

I missed you guys at that IU game, if i had known I would have looked closer...:confused3

no ice fishing for me ,just repairing ,fixing equipt, waiting for the seasons to change...:confused3
Hey Deb.. hope that Alex gets kicking again,no operation is fun...
ya got's to keep working on that Micca and the Med cruise....

Poor Bob slaving away in warm, sunny Fl....:dance3: Boy, the guy never gets a break....:rolleyes1 I know how tough it is when they send you to those distant, warm, sunny jobs...:yay: It usually took me 6 mos, to really get lonesome, sometimes 8 mos:angel: Hell, he probably will need a longer period....:sad2: To bad that Bob's not a fisherman:yay:

Wow, he really reads EVERYTHING!!

jENSKI, I hate my kids...............(sorry I couldn't resist.........I actually like 2/3 right now........DD19 is still "on the list"........."in the doghouse"......."about to be adopted"....DO I SEEM TO BE OVERREACTING??:happytv: Well, I'M NOT!:hippie: :scared1: :headache: :sad2: :sad1: :upsidedow

Anyway, the "cold" is better than being a Mom right now..........:cutie:

How's everyone else doing?? BOb, GET HOME, I know exactly how "the loose" is feeling! :dance3:

I've been checking out the Med excursions......some seem alittle museumy.......SOME SEEM AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC!!:cloud9:

deBSKI, give us an update!:flower3:

American Ed Week continues today.......................:grouphug:

I feel your pain:sad1: :sad1: Joannnnski, NOT Jennski, sorry, got my 'skis' mixed up!
My middle one is also the one i want to give away for FREE....
NOW that I got everyone's attention (including Bob's:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: ), my oldest being the perfect girl I NEVER had, the middle one I'm giving away, and the youngest being the one I'll pay someone to take......:woohoo: :yay: :rotfl2:

The NJ man DOES read the threads - so nice to hear from 'ya Bill - I just loved those encouraging words to Bob:furious:
OMG - Jennster, the colder than a witch's ______, I haven't heard that for awhile - can you imagine - Lynn has NO clue what the blank is....I'M NOT TELLING HER! I'm a good girl.:flower3:

Speaking of the Brits, heard on the international weather tonight (I AM bored), the Brits are getting a very strong wind storm tomorrow, but their temps are very nice. Lynn - do you ever see snow?:confused3 :confused3

Jennster: you are SO right - she does deserve a present:cheer2: , poor, mistreated Lucy:sad1: , feeling sorry for herself, alone with these monsters.....would a 14 kt. gold amethyst diamond ring, shaped like a Mickey head be too much to ask for? :sad2: OH, wait, he would need to go to WDW for that, wouldn't he? HEY BOBBY, I'll take a raincheck on the gift, till the end of March...and then I would have celebrated a birthday too and I could give you a list of what else I might "NEED"!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rolleyes1    pixiedust:

Jenn: I LOVE that idea (just found these this little weight-thingy myself).
:wishthirty

DEBS: update on ::MinnieMo , please.

a shot this season. I haven't ever watched it consistently for a whole season, but here we go! I am cracking up at these people who really believe they CAN sing. At least I know I can't. The one kid who had the "huge, buggy" eyes cracked me up. I swear he sings/dances like John!!!:lmao: My poor son CANNOT sing. It's bad when you don't make the 5th grade choir!!!:rotfl: OMG~Did anyone see the girl who is 6'4" flat footed??:scared1: Can you imagine??? She was good though....

I have had a strange week. I was off Monday for MLK and Tuesday/Wednesday I had training, so basically I haven't been in the classroom for a while! :guilty: Tomorrow and Friday will probably kill me!:rotfl:

Lynn~If you need definitions for my silly country folk sayings, just let me know! :rolleyes1 Oh, Lucy, I got a ton. I am just a chip off the old block (thanks MOM!!!):cool2:

are American Idol fans...big time. Last night I heard Tyler laughing his head off (it's ok if he laughed his head off...he never has homework, so i guess he doesn't need 'anything in his head'!!:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: )....I've never heard him laugh so much - that show must have been wild last night.

MR. Williams called and said he had just picked up Applebee's and was heading back to the hotel to watch AI.....you know, he had Applebee's, I was supposed to have Applebee's - but NO, I was home with the monsters and had to eat really, really bad Chinese food.:sad1: pity party once again for Lucy...I hope Bob reads ALL the threads, we've jumped to another page and he won't know what presents to bring home for me:scared1: :scared1:

I had full intentions of driving to John's game (about 30 miles south of here). Mom wasn't feeling well and Mark needed to work late, so I set out with M&M. I got about 10 miles from home and my tire went FLAT!! :sad2: So, as I sat on the edge of the highway with the kids in the back seat I thought I was going to cry. I can change my own tire, but hell I can't even bend over right now, let alone lift anything! SO FRUSTRATING!!

So, I called AAA. They told me it would be a 90 minute wait. I explained that I fully understood, however I was a female, alone with two kids in the backseat and it was getting dark. She told me she would note that it was a priority and TEN MINUTES later the guy drove up and changed it!! I was going to continue on to the game, but Mark threw a fit!! I would have only gotten to see maybe a quarter anyway, so here I sit!:rolleyes1

Well, it is still colder than a "witch's ____" around here! I hate it!:cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: It's suppose to snow Sunday. They can NEVER predict snow around here. Too many factors. We could get a dusting or a foot!:scared1:

Bob comes back to reality tomorrow, right???? Just in time for the cold weather! Welcome to reality!!!:rolleyes1

Thx, you both made me feel a lot better.............A FLAT TIRE IN THIS WEATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:scared1: Tonight, have a glass on me, girl!:dance3:

Luski, what was THAT last part about on your last post................. ??

American Ed Week here, one more day of visitors observing our day:teacher: ! Dream come true, dream come true.......

We're hoping for some snow tonight around here..............:dance3:

has landed:banana: :cool1:

took an earlier flight....got into philly around 4:15 - NOW, till he finds his luggage (and it would be a miracle if it was there), finds his ride to his car, and heads home in Friday night traffic - who knows when we'll see him.
I watched his flight on the computer this afternoon - so cool.:surfweb:

Last statement JOANNSKI: I'm afraid he won't read the part about the presents for me!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: I'll let you know.:woohoo:

It is SO cold here too. Had snow on the ground this morning - no delays for school, though. Just very icy roads. SO very, very windy and cold. Can you imagine coming home from Florida, to this weather:scared1: :scared1:
Tonight may be the first night of the winter season we 'burn up' the fireplace. Gotta watch Grey's Anatomy tonight - my new favorite show (well, that's not true, The Weather Channel is still my favorite, but there hasn't been any 'weather' to watch...speaking of weather...Lynn, I saw you guys were hit by big wind storms this week - everything ok?):confused3

It's over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Life can only be easy now!!!

A few of us, ladies will be celebrating in a few days...........whoooppiiieee!!!:goodvibes

Welcome home, Bob, sorry about the weather.........:confused3

We need an update, Deb & Lynn!!!popcorn::

Hello
I've not been blown away. It was very windy here yesterday, but nothing to your hurricanes and snow storms. I think we're going West again!!!!!
Keith really wants to go through the canal and we can just fit in with my school dates so we'll be sailing again summer 2008. Which means I'm afraid my friends that unless we can see you then we won't be catching up with you for a while. I'm a little put off by the port of Cartegena Is it safe to go to Colombia... what are Disney thinking...oh my I'm beginning to catch Lucyitus...no seriously what can you tell me. I have only heard of it as the place Kathleen Turner went to in Romancing the Stone and look what happened to her....yep she met Michael Douglas oh well maybe I should go.

Jo anne talk to me re excursions what are your thoughts??? i have 3 ports with private guides booked at the moment we'd love to share with you guys if you are interested, with a group the price comes down and is cheaper than DCL if just the 2 of us it's a bit pricey but we may pay for convenience... A couple of ports we are doing our own thing and then sicily and sardinia we like the look of DCL pm or e mail me your thoughts and we can start to get sorted not long now!!!

Micco always room for you I know you're still working on the Debster

Alex hope you're feeling better and you Jenny
