Sorry Guys October is the best I can do . On Fri 28th July I'll be showing Jim and Family the sights of London , I think fish and chip tea with my mum is the order of the day.....
Have fun and I''l send you a photo of Keith and I which you can prop in a vacant chair and pretend that we are there with you.

Kathy I'm so pleased you said that,... I was the dunce in our segway class, the thing attacked me in the classroom, I fell off on the slope and then I knocked the architecture about in Italy...I still enjoyed it but I'm not very coordinated when it comes to mechanised objects!!!!

Jenny, I just replied to your PM about San Diego hotels. I got a little carried away. One more year...I miss it so much out there.

Lynn, Those things are tricky aren't they? We had a really great experience the day we did it though. We did the 8:30am tour so the World Showcase wasn't open yet when we were buzzing around on our Segways. It was great not having to worry about plowing anyone down. Near the end of our tour a group of at least 10 characters came walking by on their way to open the park. The CM in charge of our tour convinced them to pose with us as a group. I'm going to miss you guys in October. Ted and I will be in Las Vegas 19-24 October. Ted has a medical conference. I'm so disappointed! Our schedule is always crazy.

Ted's moonlighting this weekend...I think it's going to be a rough one. He went straight from the Naval Hospital to Maryview to do a tap. He usually never has to go in on Friday evenings when he's on call.

Tonight I'm taking Amy and two of Owen's friends to open gym. Owen doesn't get to go. He snuck a snack yesterday afternoon after I told him no snacks before dinner and then lied about it. My little mole (aka Amy) was more than happy to turn him in. I didn't want to disappoint the other two boys so we're still going. Hopefully, Owen will learn his lesson.

You guys have got to try my favorite drink at Le Cellier...the ice wine martini. It is so good. I can hardly wait!

Welcome Kathy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Debs is going to be so psyched when she finds out that you are coming too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, you're in for Segway!! I'm laughing right now visualizing all of us!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

No worries, Jenny, we will have so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :grouphug:

Is this cool or what???????????? :thumbsup2

Hey! In all the excitement of the building "party" we haven't heard from Alex lately!! Yo Alex! Where are you????????? I hope you are doing better than you were the last time you posted!

I had planned on leaving around noon tomorrow for Cincinnati. However, when I left the ballpark tonight, John was in 2nd place in the home run derby. That means if his score sticks, he will be in the finals at 12:30! Oh well! I am proud of him!! Tomorrow Mallory plays 9:30-10; John 10:10-11:10 and 11:20-12:20 and Mallory again 11:30-12! How will I do it??? I'll worry tomorrow about that!!! :moped: :moped: :moped: :moped:

Girls only tonight here, so off to bed to "cuddle"!!! :grouphug: :grouphug:

Debs, you have so much to catch up on - READ!

OK, Lynn, this is Bob's idea...not mine..... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
tell your friends you have a conference that weekend, lock the door, and
get on that plane! :rotfl2: :rotfl:
Just kidding, girl, we WILL be putting your picture on that chair next to
us....and we all know what shirt Keith will be wearing in the picture.....
I truly am going to pack the picture.

NOW, for Bill....there is absolutely no excuse....I will NOT forgive you and Alice if you do not fly down with JoAnn and Ken. Jenny and Lucy are hurting that you don't come down when they are there.....come on boy!
This has GOT TO BE a complete reunion and it won't be without you (Lynn has a good excuse...those darn Americans, visiting during our reunion!)

It is beautiful in PA today - the only exception is the pollen in the air - Tyler and Lucy are sniffling, sneezing, scratching eyes and just can't stop.....
oh, well, I wanted sunshine, didn't I? :cool2:

Debs - tomorrow is when we come to NYC but Bob and I truly understand if you don't come into the City to meet us (yes we want to see you!)....you must have SO MUCH to do to catch up after your cruise....
I DO have one question - other than how was your trip????
When is Brianna's 16th birthday party? :woohoo:

I'll be off and on the cmputer today - tomorrow not at all.

I am checking out until Sunday night or Monday morning. I am heading out to John and Mallory's baseball/softball games. After that we are heading to Cincinnati. I am not taking the laptop since I will be there less than 24 hours. I missed a great Reds game last night, but listened on the laptop (the end) while laying in bed. I was ZONKED!

Happy weekend to all! WELCOME HOME DEBS!!! We missed you, but we sure enjoyed hearing from Captain Nemo!!! Thanks Micco for the update! Hey! I bet if you twist his arm, Mark will partake a cigar with you! He used to enjoy them, but hasn't had any lately!

Have fun Lucy & Jenny in NYC and Cincy! Say "Hi" to Vince & Jen! We are home this weekend, big soccer game tonight with our local rivals (Jess is CH!) Tomorrow, we are doing a March of Dimes walk sponsored by my school......Welcome home, Debbie! We'll all have to see the show in October, so we need suggestions from you Lucy! :smooth:

Saw the rents on Thur/Fri.......they stayed over on the way to Niagara Falls! They'll be home tomorrow night! :teeth:

Everyone have a great day...........we'll let you know how the GAME goes! BTW, how the HR derby go for John? :confused3

John was a finalist (I didn't realize this morning) in BOTH the home run derby and accuracy throwing contest.

HE WON THEM BOTH!!

How cool is that??? :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I am a proud mama!!!

Good luck Jess!!!!!

I have no idea what John has done but it sounds good to be a finalist in two things and win them both.
Well Done John....now what exactly is a home run derby, I can understand accurate throwing but to whom and over what distance............come on John you didn't include these things in my baseball 101 lessons!!!

I can still sing in the 9th innings stretch or was it the 7th or well, wait till you visit us and I start in on cricket rules!! :rotfl2:

Jessica's HS team won 4-0 and she scored one of the goals!! :woohoo:

WTG, John! :cheer2:

It's the 7th inning stretch, Lynn...........Jenny will have to explain the home run derby thing, b/c I have no boys! :confused3

Beautiful weather here in Newtown! :sunny:

Way to go Jess

Way to go John

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Off to the City - will check in when we get home....beautiful day in Kutztown too. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

So, today, Ken & I did a March of Dimes walk..........while we were gone............JESS WAS INTERVIEWED BY A LOCAL PAPER ABOUT HER GAME LAST NIGHT!!! Apparently, since most of the pictures had her in them, the reporter called her AND IS DOING AN ARTICLE ABOUT HER TEAM!!!! :woohoo:

Needless to say,....................I'M ALITTLE PSYCHED!! :lovestruc :Pinkbounc

LynnBaseball 201 ~ HOME RUN DERBY ~ This is where you hit the ball and score points on an individual basis. 1 point for hitting it in the infield (dirt), 2 points for the closest 1/2 of the outfield, 3 points for the farthest part of the outfield and 4 points for hitting it over the fence! Now, he did not hit any out, but score enough points to win! (The "pros" have to hit it out to score points!)

Jess is obviously AWESOME! Way to go girl!!! Maybe you could send us a link and we can see the newspaper article!

Mark and I ended up last night out with the umpires (I had met one of them before and he remembered me, so we sat and chatted a couple of hours). What a blast! The home plate umpire told John if he would come down to the gate today after the game, he would hand him the line up cards on his way out (this is the card that the managers turn in to the umpires preceeding the game with the names of the starters and substitutes). It was neat because the cards were both signed by the managers of the Reds and Astros. He was pretty psyched!

I need to get busy........ticket action while I was gone, so I need to get caught up. My manager (Mark) is headed back to the city tomorrow afternoon to see the Reds/CArdinals Monday night and Tuesday afternoon. I, in the meantime, have 5 little league baseball/softball games to attend in the next four days. Unbelieveably, none are at the same time!!!

Where's Deb??

How was Tarzan Lucy???

Congratulations Tara!!! JoAnn, I agree with Jenny...please send a link to the newspaper article!

Congratulations John!!! Jenny, I must admit, I had no idea what a home run derby was either. It sounds like you might have a future Reds player in the family! No fear of that in our household...I had to fill in the "stats" on Owen's personal trading cards (pictures) and I asked him what his favorite position is since they switch every game. He said "outfield because I can relax out there."

Deb, How did Brianna's cheerleading competition go? How was your cruise? Did you visit San Diego?
