Instead of cleaning the playroom and basement, I cleaned out my car!! I love washing my car and cleaning it!!! :teeth:

ok you guys how come you are all off work today did I miss another US Holiday!!!!
One lovely 9 year old rang the fire bell today... why do we do this job.. oh well don't have to put up with his nonsense for a couple of days he's now excluded until Thursday, he didn't just ring the bell but when challenged told me he didn't f***ing do it, then told me to f*** off and hit me on the arm Do your principals have to put up with this.. the kids here are getting worse and worse and all our powers to deal with it are being eroded.

Ok off the soapbox now.
Stay as long as you can Alex I'd love to try and get back to WDW this year, my nephew and his family will be over at Easter.
We had a Princess tea party this Sunday for the 2 little girls Charlotte (6)and Gemma (4)and gave them their Disney pressies, just adorable what a lovely age.

Debbi Micco Keith is talking very positively about a long weekend in NYC.
My holiday dates are March 31st- April 19th or May 27th - June 4th
Which would be the best time weatherwise is end of May very hot? Would these dates fit your schedule at all could we come and see you?

Okay I'm ready for cruise questions fire away we had a blast it was so nice to cruise with people you know!!! in fact we think if the Med happens we might try and do it to see you all again, so I'll let you know our dates, is everyone still in?

Question #1 ~ Martin Luther King, Jr. Day today. Most schools, banks, post offices, government offices, etc. are closed. Mark had to work!!! :rotfl2:

Question #2 ~ Unfortunately, your child today is like a few of ours. Isn't it so sad?? I agree we just don't have any "power" to deal with them. And, many parents don't back the educators, but blame us for them acting this way! Fortunately, we still have many kids who just make us want to come back each day and do the best job we can. It sounds as if your children are much like ours. All in all, the good do outweigh the bad! :sunny:

My question: What the heck is a "pressie"??? Sorry...... Is it a dress?? Now I have this vision.......Somehow I imagine Keith taking tea with these little girls but, like in the movie "Toy Story" when Buzz is having the tea party with Mrs. Nesbitt! :rotfl:

So, Lynn, are you going to NYC or WDW?? We'll be in WDW for a few days April 9 - 13th. We're still in for Med 2007 but we have to see in April 2006 what's up.........it's looking good though. MLK Day is when we celebrate an incredible African American man who preached peace in dealing with insurmountable conflicts between whites and blacks. In regards to the lovely children, we hear you over here, everyday the stories are getting more challenging.........hang in there, it's not easy! :hug:

My next leg procedure is tomorrow, I'm alittle scared, wish me luck tomorrow!! :worried:

Where is BB??? I'll make contact and see what's up (he's probably still racking his brain about the big B-day...it's a lot of pressure for him!) How's Mark doing with the Jenny preps??? Thank you for the birthday wishes. I had a very nice day and that evening Ted and the kids took me to Red Robin for dinner.

Yesterday was a rough day. Ted was in an accident on his way to work. Thank God he is fine. Neither he nor our neighbor that he was giving a ride to work were injured which is a miracle considering the condition of his car. The Lincoln Navigator traveling in front of him slammed on his brakes after being cut off by a car trying to cut ahead into an long line of tunnel traffic. Ted slammed on his brakes but still hit the Navigator. There was minor damage to the SUV and no injury to it's driver, but the front end of Ted's Mercedes sedan crumpled, although his airbags didn't deploy. Ted was cited for following to closely but the officer told him to go to court and that the judge would dismiss it since this scenario evidently happens all the time at that spot on the freeway. All witnesses (including the driver of the SUV Ted hit) agree that the car that cut off the Navigator was at fault and that there was no way Ted could have avoided the collision. Our insurance company, however, says that Ted is at fault since the Navigator didn't hit the culprit vehicle. Ted's car was towed from the scene and we don't have an estimate of damages yet but the body shop says it could take 6 weeks or more to repair. This has all left us very shaken but counting our blessings. I'm having trouble sleeping...I can't stop thinking about what could have happened.

Had a 13 yr. old complaining this morning that he was sick and didn't want to go to school - he is the best "whiner" I know! ::yes::

and I won another day - he is presently IN SCHOOL!

It is such a dreary day in PA, rainy, windy, and then it will turn colder and maybe snow.....how many more days of the season I absolutely HATE! :confused3

JoAnn - sorry to hear - best of luck....there should be gifts for your birthday and your surgery from the "rents". :tongue:

So meantime, I can't sleep for like four hours last night so, of course, I get up, do the wash, the dishes, the coupons?, workout, and then.......do you know what happened?................THE PROCEDURE WAS CANCELLED!So now, I have to reshedule for next Tuesday (I went to work today, how stupid is that??) At least, I will enjoy my Bday and then deal with all this..... :scared1:

Lynn - The end of May/beginning of June would be better for us in NYC, as we are trying to plan a trip to WDW sometime the first or second week of April.

I tried sending everyone pictures, but they all bounced back to me, except for JoAnn's. Not sure why, but I will try again on my computer from home. This computer at work is dial up and it's just way too slow. JoAnn, glad you enjoyed them!

Kathy - Sorry to hear about Ted's accident, I guess you really have to count your blessings. Hope he is feeling alright.

Lucy - What's the matter, I don't post for 2 days, and you miss me???

Alex had her assessment today and passed with flying colors. She is now an official Disney entertainer. Things have been going real well for her, and she sounds really happy. I predict bigger and better things for her in the future. We will keep our fingers crossed.

Today we had no power at the store till 1:00. We had a really bad rain and wind storm last night into this morning. Now it is just plain cold.
