Congrats Ted - We are so very proud of you!!!

So why does everyone feel sorry for us???? Please don't. We are so looking forward to this get together. I am so psyched for the first weekend in Dec, I can't contain myself. I am so glad we hooked up with this group, a bunch of planners and organizers, people who get things done, not just a lot of talk. I love it!!!!!!!!!! Wendy and Dennis - Come on guys, you're not that far away!!! Bill and Alice - How bout you too??? And any of the west coasters, there's plenty of room at our house, please let us know if you would like to come too!!!

Now, like I said, everyone is welcome to stay with us. Save some $$$. Anyone flying in, come in to Newark, easiest and closest to us for pick up. Please don't do Laguardia, then you're on your own. LOL! Kennedy I can handle, but the traffic is murder. Jenny - We would love to have you stay at our house. Like I said, I make a mean margarita girlfriend!!! Kathy - You are welcome to stay at the house too if it makes Ted feel any better.

Now we have a plan for Sat night. We would like to have dinner at Pegasus, a really great restaurant at the Meadowlands Racetrack. It is a great night out of food, drinks, plenty of time to laugh and talk. Rather than going to just any restaurant, we would spend about 5 hours there. You can bet on the races if you want, but you don't have to. Micco and I are not gamblers, a $2 bet on a race is about all we do. LOL. If everyone is up for this, I will make ressies this week. We could spend the day in the city on Saturday or Sunday, depending on when everyone gets here. I am taking the day off Sat, even if I don't have someone to watch the store, I will close for you guys!!! I really can't wait!!! Can you tell I'm excited.

Lucy - I am not sure how Micco feels about Mexico in 07, but I think where ever this group is going, and whenever, we are in. Of course we would prefer Med, but we will take what we get. We are cruisin with the DISers in 07, no matter what!!! Looking forward to that announcement, keep us posted.

We are finally enjoying a day of sun here after 9 days of rain. Ugh!!

OK, Micco and I were talking yesterday and decided if Disney does Mexican Riviera again in 07, we would rather skip it. Looking at the posts on the board, seems like a lot of people feel the same way. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it (I loved the ports we went to, we had never been to any of them before), especially meeting all of you, and we still want to cruise together, but I think we would rather do the Western Carribean (Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Key West and a good ole dose of CC) rather than west coast. The weather is much better in the Atlantic. We were very lucky on our cruise with the weather, we only had the day out and day back that were chilly. But next time we might not be that lucky. Anytime we have cruised the Carribean during the summer, the weather has been awesome. Weather is important to me!!! Anyway, just my 2 cents.

I am definitely with you guys. I enjoyed the Mexican trip, but it's "been there, done that" now. I had more fun just hanging out with you guys!! Anyway, you'll have to do a lot of prodding to get Mark to the Med., but I think it can be done! He is a good old "USA traveler"!! We got really sick in Jamaica on our honeymoon (intestinal/bacterial infection) and that did us both in. Mark was shocked in Mexico this trip because I drank beer! It's the only "alcohol in a bottle" I could find. He had never seen me drink beer in 10 years of marriage!!!! Anyway, abroad is a little scary for us, but I can be convinced. Mark is another story!

Debs I will go anywhere you take me! Just tell me what to bring to wear, and I will be in heaven!!! Remember, I am the "tourist", so you can thrill me with just about anything!!

I'm sorry, I meant to say "week." I don't know what week we are talking about in 2007. For me, probably any week between late June and late July would probably work. Early July is probably better than late.

I agree about the Caribbean as a preferred choice if Med is out.

The prices listed on today's boards are CRAZY - I can't imagine what
Europe would be......OMG, the cruise boards are hopping today!

We haven't cruised the Eastern Carribbean, but have done the Western with Disney. It might be hard for us to enjoy anything but DCL because of the childcare options. I am a little spoiled with the club/lab for the kids. John really complained about the Carnival kids areas when he went with his dad. He called them "lame"!!!

Not going to Castaway Cay this trip really made me realize how much I missed it!!!

With this being said, I am not sure if we can or cannot cruise in '07........

There is no way I can recall all that i've just read... Soo Let me say thankyou for all your best wishes, We had a wonderfull dinner with my lovely Daughter ,Ken, GD's, oldest son and his wife..it was a fun weekend for us,JoAnn was learning to be a teacher again, so she was under the gun
We will pass for the weekend with you folks , we are up to our neck with social commitments here in Brig.,Plus there looks like another weather situation developing shortly... It will be a kick *** time ....!!! Enjoy.....
WE feel Mexico once ,was enough also.... But a Med cruise does things for me ..... ...But I would prefer Disney.. We've done some of the other lines...

Pray not for the Bengals , but on Saturday when we go to see my loly Hoosiers play the Ohio State Buckeyes right here in lovely Bloomington!!! This is the week every year that makes being married to a Buckeye tough! Always a sell-out, but unfortunately the Buckeyes bring more fans than the home team (no joking either!).

That rain is awful you guys are having. Here's my dose of for you! Hope it works!

Kathy - give us a report about Disney - there was no news about cruises summer 2007 - you'll be interested in reading all the chatter on cruise forum board about the outrageous prices for 2007.

JoAnn - IF WE don't soon see some sunshine, I'm gonna scream - i can't stand this dreary weather and tonight we must work the food stand at the football game, it is homecoming and once again, as it does every year for homecoming, it will pour!

Bob and I BOTH forgot about it being our wedding anniversary yesterday - 21 years - well, as I've said a hundred times, right now in our lives, it is "all about Beauty and the Beast" - I must say, I did sneak into rehearsal the other night and the kids are sounding terrific - I get goosebumps (and tears) everytime I hear "the Beast" sing. AND the sets, they are so beautiful.

How many of you were in Key West - I'm so sad for them, and Cozumel.
We enjoyed both of those ports. This year is too weird. I wonder what we
nor'easteners are going to get this winter.....

Pacific coast people - i envy you and your weather. Miss hearing from you guys.

Next week is our fall break. I have to work a hellacious schedule to get it though! I work a normal day Monday. Tuesday the kids leave at 11:30 and we conference until 4:30. Wednesday the kids leave again at 11:30 and we conference until 8:00 P.M.!!!!! Thursday, though we ALL leave at 11:30 and don't return until Tuesday!!!!!

Our fall break will be celebrating Mark's 40TH BIRTHDAY!!! (been there, done that too!!! ) Anyone interested in participating in my birthday "bug him"??? Those who can't attend the "party" were asked to do one of two things:

1. E-mail him Friday by noon (he will work until then - I think!)
or
2. Call his cell phone between 7 and 11 p.m. eastern just to tell him happy birthday!!!

I can p.m. the e-mail or cell to anyone interested!!! He will be in the hotel lounge in Cincy Friday night celebrating. Won't he be shocked when his cell keeps ringing?? I just love pulling stuff on him.

Indiana/Ohio State football tomorrow, Bengals Sunday. Sounds like a darn good weekend to me. M & M have decided to stay home, so just John with us.
