Well, as i speak to you at 7:55 AM, it is snowing and sleeting and the kids are in school - i worry about the elementary school buses...elementary school doesn't start till 9:00

I return to the surgeon in 2 months and then we will schedule the other hand...but I'm just not sure when I have time to fit it in

Busy week for the retired one - today tyler has an ortho appt. after school
tomorrow i must pick up my cousin from airport--she returns from Florida...no, NOT Philly airport, remember, i'm a country driver
Thursday and friday i have my little girl
Saturday we must get up early and make sandwiches for a music fundraiser
(I wanted to ask all of you to buy some sandwiches but I wasn't sure about the delivery of them )

Janet Jackson will be on Good Morning America - yuck! think i'll turn to Today Show

show was much better
they had the cast from "One Day at a Time" - does anyone remember that show? Tomorrow the cast from Murphy Brown is on...I loved that show!

Well, tough life, gotta do my hand exercises right now - must do three times a day and massage the scar twice a day....better than going to therapy!

Thanks very much for the praise, I am astonishingly grateful.......I've been dragging the second Master's (equivalent) for TEN YEARS! Talk about procrastination.......I FINALLY MADE IT! Today, a colleague came in and asked me for some books to help her with her undergraduate course....she's 52 and studying to be a teacher! How about that?!

Things have been crazy lately at school.......I'm starting to get excited about Germany.........Tara's stories from the UK are making me think this might be fun (the problem is........I DON'T DRINK BEER!) So hopefully....I'LL FIND SOMETHING TO DO! Oh yea, we have to start saying "fecking".....so have a fecking good night to all!!!

anyhow,did the boy's win Jenny,the last I saw they were winning...?? and then I crashed...!! Our Villanova had a run going ,4/5 then lost it last night..

the IU guys won....didn't I tell you who the interim coach would be? Nice folks. Mark and I played softball with them a few years back. Their two kids are the ages of our boys.

yes, we got the sh*& kicked out of us today. I am just glad it's baseball season, personally!

No shaking here it was further North
Guess what I'm so fed up I can't get over to WDW I've booked us a weekend at the Disneyland Hotel Paris... This Hotel is right above the turnstiles of the park and we've a park view, also as it's a conceirge room we get a VIP fast pass.
It is my birthday so I'm splashing out, I still don't like it as much as the US parks but for the 15th Anniversary they've opened some new rides we now have a Tower of terror, plus a Cars ride and a Nemo ride, we also havean interactive experience like Turtle talk but with Stitch.

Now funny you should mention retiring in FL but our other US Buddies are likely to retire in Florida and we are seriously considering buying a home there for the winter, your house prices are so much cheaper than ours, we will be free to do something in 3 years however I'm not holding my breath as it looks like we're heading for a recession over here so who knows what will happen!

Hope you are all well I have had a really bad virus it has some posh name but basically it sits dormant in your body and keeps reoccurring, I've never had so much time off work and I go back and start to get caught up when it hits again and I'm either further behaind. It seems to have left me alone for nearly a month now so fingers crossed. The good thing is I've lost nearly 2 stone (26lbs to you guys) in weight without even trying so I'm trying to keep going now so I can enjoy the cruise this summer

Florida here we come.............we can all move to a community and plan cruises all year long!!!
