how about you, Jo-Jo and Jennster? expecting anything like this?:confused3:cold: :cold: :cold: Maybe a snow day for all of us?:cheer2: :woohoo:
Wonder if Tyler will have a snow day tomorrow? Wonder if I'll get my bandages removed tomorrow?:confused3

I'm beat from my library work today....on my feet from 8-4...poor, poor Lucy:sad1: :headache:

Well, our forecast is alot like yours but I think we're going to have more freezing rain and less snow.............I'll be interested to see if we have a delay, no school or nothing. If we go in regular time, I'm afraid we're going to spend all day looking out the window worrying.......I hate when they do that! We haven't missed any school yet this year............:confused3

So work's been crazy this week, how's everyone else doing??:scared1:

Will you be able to get to the doctors, Lu, if it's bad weather?? Will someone drive you? :drive:

Is your Bday the 25th? So, Monday? What's wrong with celebrating for a week???:cloud9:

The only way I remember LuLu's birthday is because my father's birthday was the 25th. I think hers in a couple of days later. Is that right Luce??:confused3

We got quite a storm yesterday. It kicked in at about 1:30 p.m.with sleet. By 3:30 when I left for Mallory's gymnastics it was starting to get slippery. At 5 when we left gymnastics for the 15 mi. drive home the highways were slushy with the sleet. at 6:30 when I picked John up from sledding on "the hill" it was getting really slick and starting to snow. They called for a 2 hour delay at 8 p.m. and at 5:30 a.m. this morning we cancelled.

It will be interesting to see if Mark gets out of our our driveway which is STRAIGHT UP a hill. If not, I am without my car (4 wheel drive). I will not be happy if so.:sad2: I freak out if I am without a car.....typical car dealer's daughter, right? Speaking of cars..........I sold my old van yesterday. :woohoo: Part of the self imposed "diet".

Today will be "try on our old clothes day". Anyone who needs shorts, swimsuit, etc for our Florida trip better get the job done today!:rolleyes1 We leave two weeks from tomorrow!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Am watching the "Today Show" from Miami beach. It's killing me!!! Gosh, it looks so beautiful!!!!!!:flower3:

how are 'ya doing...laying here on the sofa with the laptop...everything in this area CLOSED, except of course the malls...bob scared me this morning when he told me (he left at 5:30 am) he spun out in the highway this morning....boy, when he comes home later it will be all freezing rain and sleet.:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

No way i was heading to the doctor this morning...wonder how long these bandages will stay on?:confused3

Of course I told tyler at 7 AM there was no school and NOW he can't sleep - darn it...looks like he'll be up the rest of the day. he DOES think he is going to a friend's house tonight, outside of town, for a sleepover....I don't think so but I'm NOT telling him that yet. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: Our universities in the area are also closed, THAT doesn't happen very often.:scared1:

What a very cool thing to do on a snowday, Jenny....YEP, your trip is just around the corner....this snow makes me very jealous but VERY happy for you. JoAnn also leaving for Germany next month. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Keep the chatter going today:surfweb: :grouphug:

Sitting in my BA (big a**) chair with my laptop as well. I WILL NOT stay at home all day. I will do my errands and help Mark out with his since I am off. He made it up the hill so I am with car!:thumbsup2 :cool1: Must have been because I went out and salted it.....I'll do anything to help him get to work in the mornings in HIS OWN CAR!!!:woohoo: Let's see there's the dry cleaners, Wal-Mart, Kohl's (swimsuits on sale!). Tomorrow, cut and color so I look younger for WDW.....I'll do anything to look younger! So, do I need to come and take you to the doctor Lucy???:confused3 And, yes, I will take John to "the hill" again. He snow boards, so it's perfect. All the kids meet there and have a blast!

Enrique Iglesias on the Today Show......oh, so cute! Matt Lauer cruising in a Bentley Convertable. Wow! another cutie, just older!

Jo-Jo?:confused3
Bill?:confused3
Debs?:confused3
Lynn?:confused3

almolst 10:00 AM - time to work in the house.....:laundy:

IF people would start chatting around here, I'd be able to play on the computer but since noone is talking....guess i'll get to work:laundy:

Hi everyone!! Sorry, Lu, I know you wanted to get the bandages off!  IT'S OUR FIRST SNOW DAY! This now pushes my youngest DD's graduation to June 16th, with our final day on the 17th. I think it's time to put the countdown ticker.......it's becoming quite a year.

Ken already ran out to do something. Jess is here and Tracy still has school at Temple. I don't think I mentioned this but Tara's computer crashed about two days after she got Internet in her apartment........ :scared1: This is starting to get fun isn't it? So she's getting it fixed and it should be working by Tuesday. By the time we get to Germany, I'm going to hoist her up and throw her on the plane to take her home!:scared:

So, like Jenny last week?........we are off today and then next Monday, I'm off to go to a few doctor appointments. I'm so glad I left sub plans on my desk yesterday!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: At this point, it couldn't have come at a better time!!

Okay, time to do something:laundy: I have my second half OF MY FINAL GRAD COURSE THIS WEEKEND!!!:sad2:

All of my errands are done, groceries are in, so let the weekend begin!:cool1: I think I shall do NOTHING!:surfweb:

The kids are outside sliding down our hills in our yard. We have the best sledding yard! The house sits on the hill and goes down to our backyard. It's very steep.......:cheer2: I need to go and take pictures to put on the blog!!:dance3:

Watching Dr. Phil and the "Bridezillas"..OMG, it's amazing!:scared1:

Waiting on the press conference for the IU baskeball mess. Yes, JoJo and Lucy you have NO CLUE what I am talking about. Basically the coach has a history of breaking rules, so what did we go out and do? Hire him!!:scared1: And, yes, he has "done it again" and lied to investigators on top of that! So, today is the day the decide if he is 1)fired, 2)suspended until the end of the year or 3)slapped on the wrist and told "bad boy". To me cheating is cheating and lying is lying....no two ways about it. Anyway, I have watched the locals all day. Now they are saying 4 p.m.... A friend of our is an assistant, and is projected to be the interm if needed. That would be cool!

I'm sure my dad knows all about your BBall scandal!;) Speaking of the Rents, I called them the other day thinking it was my house (my first episode of Alzheimers).......I was so surprised when some man answered instead of Jess, to be honest, it scared me!:scared1:

Lucy, if you go right now, you can get your bandages off, between the storms, the roads aren't too bad right now........:drive:

Ken & I finally went to Lowe's today and picked out my new bathroom. My house is over 20 years old and it's time to replace some things. He's been hounding me forever to decide what to get.......so finally he's going to work on this project!!

I'm still coughing so I'm hoping to chill all night........I have to finish that grad course this weekend.......I'm hoping there's a snow delay tomorrow too.....WML!!!pixiedust:

So I guess.......it's time to start packing Jenny..............:cheer2:

So it's NOT the 25th?:confused3 Can I have a hint?:scared:

it's not the 25th:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

bandages will now come off Monday

I LOVE those Lowe's days....I'm NOT kidding.:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Sheet of ice out there tonight....Tyler is safely at a friend's house and if Bryan even THINKS of going out tonight.....there will be WAR!:scared1:

How old I'm going to be on my birthday NEXT WEEK is confidential, ok?:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: here is another hint: my birthday is the same day as two of my friends and Elizabeth Taylor's b-day:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Made a cherry crumb pie today, a fake cheesecake and brownies and a nice dinner for bryan, bob and myself (oh, it wasn't a big deal actually, it was a casserole, like i love to make, but it was really good):woohoo: :woohoo:

Hope I get another day off tomorrow...oh, yea, i forgot, I have every day off now, don't I?:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: (I was called to work an office on Monday but I have my precious little girl and my doctor appt.):grouphug:

Mark absolutely HATES projects. He tries to "go away" when there is a project to be done. Actually, I encourage it! I do the handy work around here and I want him NOWHERE within 50 miles when I work.

I usually send him away at least once a year while I do something.

I would give anything if someone would come in and do some fixer uper stuff for me! I need a new shower door and someone to reseal my shower. Oh, and new paint in the living room (way too big for me to tackle....I can do the small rooms!).

I need a new deck......I tried to get the Toolbelt Diva to come and help me do it! I love that show!

Hb on the 27th.......I looked it up on Wilkepedia................now, about the Lowe's visit............yes, it was really romantic.........we argued the whole time.........Ken gets alittle anxious whenever we spend money..........he implied that I was being extravagant.........I reminded him that it was just once every 20 years so we could afford it...............:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ken's changed careers about 10X since we've been married.......so that's why I got my teaching job.........one of them is being a "handyman!":confused3

Right now I'm watching Waitress and it's really cute.....rent it!!!:happytv:

On another note..................................BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (Feb. 22) - Indiana basketball coach Kelvin Sampson has agreed to a $750,000 buyout with the school, university spokesman Larry MacIntyre said. Assistant Dan Dakich took over the team as interim head coach.

Who says I don't know what's going on in college BB!!:worship:

Who's older?:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
