Has DU started a wait list for the second podcast cruise like they did for the 2010 sailings? :lmao:

I can just give you my credit card number now and sign me up, don't care where or when.:banana:

Nope - no waitlist yet.

Soon after we announce the date of the second PC we will have a form for you to fill out and those requests will go to Tracy.

Tracy will start processing the requests/booking in early June (yes, I know that's a long time to wait - but it can't be avoided).

For those of you going on this podcast cruise DO NOT fill out a waitlist form. The best pricing/deal will be rebooking while onboard. We will provide info on the cruise for how to rebook while onboard to get best pricing.

Again, we will take a waitlist - just not yet - and Tracy will not be processing those until early June. If your on the podcast cruise that's when you will want to rebook the next one.

One more thing - once the date is announced DO NOT book it on your own with the hopes of transferring it to Dreams.

We want everyone to book inside our group space for that sail date. Also, due to changes in the way DCL pays commission to TA's on transferred cruises we will not be able to offer the same perks for transferred reservations as we would for direct bookings.

I know this is difficult - but just be patient.....

I hope the 2nd PodCast cruise does not fill up with everyone from the first. I hope they leave room for us newbies. I need to hurry up and find my patience:sail: I WANNA GO I WANNA GO I WANNA GO!:mickeyjum

Even if everyone from the first podcast cruise rebooks while onboard for the second podcast cruise there will be plenty of staterooms left fro anyone else who wants to go.

And since we have already held group space on the sailing we want we have locked in the pricing.

Trust me - we gotcha covered.

I don't know about anyone else, but I am positively SALIVATING about this! We're about to put down $$ on a 2010 cruise with DU but we might be rebooking!!!! Wouldn't it be convenient if it's the one we already want??? :rotfl:

Thanks SO MUCH Podcast crew for making CruiseX2 happen!!!!

Thanks John I was kind of kidding ;)

I was a little confussed when you mentioned rebooking on the podcast cruise. I thought we had to have already booked it before we could "rebook" it on the cruise. I didn't see how Tracy could book all the requests before we got on the boat May 10.

However, I think I've got you now, we can go ahead and book the date while on the podcast cruise and then have it transfered. Just didn't want to miss out on the best price.

Somehow I don't think they've chosen my 2010 cruise dates (transatlantic westbound). Can you imagine six sea days w/ all of us following them around. They would probably jump overboard.

Any know the general time frame for Cruise#2. Hoping its no during the school year!

I'm sure John or Tracy will correct me if I'm wrong, but when booking onboard I believe you specify at the time that you want to book through Dreams Unlimited Travel with Tracy as the agent. That way it's considered a direct booking instead of one that needs to be transferred.

This is exactly the case. You do not want to book directly with DCL and then transfer it after the cruise, you want to book on DCL with Dreams Unlimited Travel.

There is a sticky post at the top of the Dis Unplugged board with a poll asking about sail dates.

A date has not been chosen as of yet, but there are some in mind.

The poll asks which is more important.....price...or that it not be during the school year.

The hurdle we face is that sail dates for "non-school" times are much higher than other times of the year. If your kids are out of school, the price will go up.

If we choose a less expensive sail date, you'd have to take your kids out of school.

There is really no way to satisfy both criteria.

Look at the thread at the top of the page and voice your opinion. I can tell you that the results will be a factor in making our decision on a sail date.

Can someone just tell me how much of a deposit I need to bring with me for this cruise to rebook onboard? :teacher:

And remember - John said they were just buying their own ship for the next one! :lmao: Plenty of room!!

You'll have to use a credit card. Right now the deposit would be $100 per person. If Disney stops the 50% off deposit promotion, it would be $200 per person, though I haven't heard that they will be ending this promotion anytime soon.
