Hi everyone,

Friday the 13th, Dark Day, or Great day. I usually have a story for everything, but I can't recall a good story for today...

Please help me out...Does anybody have one to share...

Hopefully, I will remember one when my brain unfreezes.

My oldest DD was born on a Friday the 13th! :sunny: Lucky for me and my husband.....you'd have to ask her siblings whether it REALLY was a lucky day!! :jumping1:

My co-worker's birthday is today and she was born on Friday the 13th.

I have had bad luck (car accidents) on Friday the 13th.

I walk middle ground on Fridays 13th

My fiance dumped me on a Friday 13th, several years ago.

The first time I broke 100 on the golf course was on a Friday the 13th, so that kind of made up for it

I was born on a Friday the 13th. That's a great story. ;)

My little Ella bug has decided to pull a Friday the 13th nightmare on her mommy. She is declining on the nap thing today. I've gone in 4 times and she's standing at the end of the crib pulling up the shade so she can look outside. We have a busy night ahead of us and if she doesn't get a nap it will be a Friday the 13th for the record books!
14 month old baby who hasn't taken a nap

Today is my 11th wedding anniversary (good thing) but I have the pink eye (bad thing). My DH's b-day is May the 13th, so many friday the13th's are good at my house.

please excuse the repeat of this story as it was told on the 'cat name thread" a few days ago.

We moved into Base Housing (4 plex apt) on Friday the 13th. I was there alone, at night, putting shelf paper in the cupboards. I kept hearing a strange noise in the cupboards.. kinda freaky. At one point I opened up the dishwasher.. out pops a BLACK CAT!!! REALLY FREAKED ME OUT!!! :eek: .... it dashed under the cupboard and some how, someway got into the cupboard......

I went next door and asked my new neighbor," Have you seen a cat in my apt". LOL...... the neighbors THOUGHT they had been losing their minds because they would see something dash by the back door... but could not make out what it might be...... so they were relieved that their "ghost" was actually a big black cat!

Well, they brought over a dish of milk and we waited for mr cat to come out of the cupboard..... SHE finally did so......... we adopted her.... and her name became
FRIDAY THE 13TH!

My dh had to take the entire dishwasher apart to find the teeny tiny space she had squeezed thru to get inside the dishwasher....

LOL...... from then on when ever we moved into a new apt. I checked the dishwasher first.................:eek:

I've got a good one for you!

Well, believe it or not, we got married on Friday, the 13 (Sept. 13, 1985 to be exact) and many, many things went wrong that day:

Our florist got lost coming to our house (if you knew how close we live to a MAJOR highway, you'd know how ridiculous this is) and was late getting here;

the caterer lost our seating arrangement (and later found it in his "safe") and my sister-in-law had to go ahead to the restaurant and try to remember where everyone should be seated;

the band played the wrong "first song" that me and DH danced to;

we went on our honeymoon to Mexico where they had a MAJOR earthquake. We were in Acapulco and the earthquake was in Mexico City. Our itinerary was 7 days in Acapulco and 3 in Mexico City, but our family wasn't sure where we were going first and the phone lines were down in both cities for the remainder of our visit so they couldn't reach us and we couldn't reach them. When we got home there were notes all over our door to call them no matter what time we got in:earseek:

And to top it off, we came home to Hurricane Gloria which struck the day after we got home to Connecticut!

We've been married 18 years, however, and are still in love so it's been lucky for us in that respect.:D

;) Well, I've had some strange occurences happen today, not sure if I can blame it on Friday the 13th or if it's just me :crazy: .

I woke up this morning to the phone ringing. I pick it up in my bedroom and the on button won't work, so I run to the kitchen phone and turn that one on and it's all static like the first phone was off the hook only I still have it in my hand and there is no sound in it.

Then we head over to the grocery store and dh goes through the electric door no problem. I start through and it makes a terrible noise and gets stuck about halfway open ::yes:: .

Later on, my phone rings again and I answer it in the kitchen. I talk for a few minutes and then go to hang up and the off button won't work :rolleyes: . So I try to put it back on the reciever and it's supposed to make a little beep when it's properly on the cradle and charging. You guessed it, no beep. Instead the caller I.D. goes blank when I put it on the cradle. I play with it for about 20 minutes and it still won't hang up, or work at all.

I hope the 14th is a more lucky day for me and electronic equipment :teeth: .
