I've got a good one for you!
Well, believe it or not, we got married on Friday, the 13 (Sept. 13, 1985 to be exact) and many, many things went wrong that day:
Our florist got lost coming to our house (if you knew how close we live to a MAJOR highway, you'd know how ridiculous this is) and was late getting here;
the caterer lost our seating arrangement (and later found it in his "safe") and my sister-in-law had to go ahead to the restaurant and try to remember where everyone should be seated;
the band played the wrong "first song" that me and DH danced to;
we went on our honeymoon to Mexico where they had a MAJOR earthquake. We were in Acapulco and the earthquake was in Mexico City. Our itinerary was 7 days in Acapulco and 3 in Mexico City, but our family wasn't sure where we were going first and the phone lines were down in both cities for the remainder of our visit so they couldn't reach us and we couldn't reach them. When we got home there were notes all over our door to call them no matter what time we got in
And to top it off, we came home to Hurricane Gloria which struck the day after we got home to Connecticut!
We've been married 18 years, however, and are still in love so it's been lucky for us in that respect.
